No, the newspapers are not always reliable, however in this case there is
something you must understand. When I said the at the Time Admiral Byrd was
a hero, you have to take into account the time period. In the 40s his hero
worship was of a magnitude not seen today. It isn't only that the newspapers
reported of his every movement ... people flocked around him everywhere he
went, during the time in question he was never out of sight long enough to
have disappeared for even a week without it being notice. Of course those
who refuse to accept the truth of this can always believe that Admiral Byrd
had a double.
Lets face the facts... Admiral Byrd was in Washington doing PR work and
directing whatever was going on at both of the poles. Why must he always be
involved directly during these "secret" polar operations? Can't people
accept the fact that HE WAS IN WASHINGTON DC DURING THIS TIME. Once we get
past that maybe we can find out what was really happening ... Oh, by the way,
I think a more significant place that Admiral Byrd was during this time was
attending a black tie dinner in Washington during which he accepted the
highest award ever given by the Masonic Lodge. But no body ever bothers to
look into that.

Ok, so you say that during 1948, when this fellow Bowen says that he
accompanied Byrd after Operation High Jump, Byrd was in Washington
attending black tie dinners and such.
I think that I´ll go along with you on this one. The Hollow Earth
Theory doesn´t depend on what Mr. Cater says that Jim Bowen says, it
is all too hard to verify.
I´ve spoken to Mr. Cater a few times on the phone during this last
year and he doesn´t follow his train of thought so, so well. He is
getting along in years, of course. I notice some nice new info in the
newer edition of his book, some new examples, and a couple of unusual
statements. He didn´t put any of this Jim Bowen stuff in the ´82
edition of the book, so who knows, he may not be thinking correctly.
I´ll stick with the vintage Cater.
Like I say, we don´t need Jim Bowen to justify the HET.
In Chapter 16 of Etidorhpa, The Man questions The Guide about "
seeing " underground. The comments of The Guide are of interest. He
makes the point that major part of the Sun´s ray pass underground in
an altered condition, and that entities underground ( cats? ) can see
by the " light " of such altered particles.
Actually, we know that the Earth does not reflect nor emit as much
light and heat as it absorbs, so what happens? The altered state of
the Sun´s rays which The Guide refers to seem to refer to a
transformation into what Mr. Cater calls soft particles and what
Wilhelm Reich called orgone. These names simply refer to the
particles which photons of light become. Once we recognise that
photons form into particles we can go very far towards substantiating
the Hollow Earth Theory.
Science does not recognise that photons of light go on to form
anything at all. If it did, then science would have to deal face to
face with the existence of celestial beings and ghosts and such, what
to speak of various kinds of luminosity within the Earth´s shell.
Here are the comments from The Guide:
" Ah!" I exclaimed, " that reminds me of a remark made by my former
guide who, referring to the instinct of animals, spoke of that as a
natural power undeveloped in man. Is it true that by mental
cultivation a new sense can be evolved whereby darkness may become as
light ?"
" Yes; that which you call light is a form of sensible energy to
which the faculties of animals who live on the surface of the earth
have become adapted, through their organs of sight. The sun's energy
is modified when it strikes the surface of the earth; part is
reflected, but most of it passes onward into the earth's substance,
in an altered or disturbed condition. Animal organisms within the
earth must possess a peculiar development to utilize it under its new
form, but such a sense is really possessed in a degree by some
creatures known to men. There is consciousness behind consciousness;
there are grades and depths of consciousness. Earth worms, and some
fishes and reptiles in underground streams ( lower organizations, men
call them ) do not use the organ of sight, but recognize objects,
seek their food, and flee from their enemies."
Again the Guide comments in Chapter 16. The retina of his eye is
apparently adapted to perceive the flow of soft particles passing
through the shell. He says that it " touches on his nerves."
" I will only say that this luminous appearance about us is produced
by a natural law, whereby the flood of energy, invisible to man, a
something clothed now under the name of darkness, after streaming
into the crust substance of the earth, is at this depth, revivified,
and then is made apparent to mortal eye, to be modified again as it
emerges from the opposite earth crust, but not annihilated. For my
vision, however, this central light is not a necessity; my physical
and mental development is such that the energy of darkness is
communicable; I can respond to its touches on my nerves, and hence I
can guide you in this dark cavern. I am all eye."
We've mused quite a bit recently on the underground connections of secret societies such as the Masons. In fact, in Etidorhpa, The Man himself was a Mason, right?
How 'bout that Byrd. He is one of them.

Thank you so much for this posting. I have an old diary from a distant grandmother, dated Feb 1846 when she can across the plains with Brigham Young, and ending forty years later. Weird. I am also requesting some further diaries for more research on a few ideas I have been mulling over concerning the Mormon connection into many things. This page will help me immensely.

Seems you are doing your research for me. The story I am researching is very similar to this, but later, 1933. My grandfather on my dad's side--Mormon, went out fishing one day, supposedly drowned. No body? Very wealthy family. After his death my grandmother took to heavy drinking and instantly became completely Anti-Mormon (as the story goes), and talked about if the people actually knew how much control the Mormon's had over others they would abandon the religion. She was immediately cast out of the family and my father never saw his grandfather after that.
Grandma was very secretive, she also did quite a bit of research as a reporter. But, she gave up reporting also and became a recluse of sorts. She would not talk about what happened, revealed nothing about the whole bizarre drowning. But, no one ever talked about him in any other way either. No history is left except one photo, which I think my aunt may have, but am not sure. Other than that, its like he disappeared off the face of the earth.
My instinct tells something was not right about the whole situation. There have been other family members also mysteriously drowned?-- over the years--that remained within the Church? Maybe a connection, then again, maybe not. But this sure adds fuel to the fire.
My "weird" idea, since all these relatives disappeared around water w/o finding any bodies, was that they were taken elsewhere. HE is one option, there are others.
I've heard the name of bruce Walton but I don't know much about him.

Rays from the Sun may well cause all the phenomena; luminosity, heat, gravity inducing radiation, etc., that you, Cater and Lloyd postulate are happening. These phenomena better be happening or we're all deluding ourselves!
Dean, sometime in the past, orthodox "scientists" assumed Earth and the planets of our Solar System receive ALL THEIR LIGHT and HEAT from the Sun. Assuming so, Earth should "reflect" or "emit" as much light and heat as it "absorbs." For HEAT received, this is the "radiator belief," that ALL Earth's HEAT comes directly from the "nearby" radiator, the Sun. And ALL LIGHT comes directly from the "nearby" light bulb, the Sun. The believers in the preceding are puzzled, as you say above, that the Earth doesn't emit as much as received. They are even more puzzled that Jupiter seems to EMIT OVER TWICE AS MUCH "ENERGY" (or whatever they think should be radiated) as they assume Jupiter "receives" from the radiating Sun. Perhaps their basic assumption that ALL Heat and Light comes directly - and only- from the Sun, needs revising. Their basic assumption may be in error.
ETIDORHPA author and famous American chemist, John Neri (Uri) Lloyd (as so described by David Pratt), and Cater, may be correct that many of the Sun's rays (composed of soft particles or Photons of light or Orgone or Prana or whatever) invisibly pass undetected through the shell, become "transformed" and create the unrealized (by orthodox science) effects you describe in the crust and hollow.
Your further supposition below (and by Cater and Eitodorhpa) that the SAME soft particles or Photons of Light from the Sun, break down and produce HEAT, seems contradicted by many experiments carried out by Churchward and a physicist he admired. Both experimenters were able, with and without glass lenses, to consistently FILTER OUT AND SEPARATE HEAT RAYS (or forces) FROM LIGHT RAYS (or forces).
Using an ordinary 100 watt light bulb as a substitute Sun, the bulb's rays filtered through DARK substances (glass or just chemical "lenses") would filter out (or stop) all light visible rays while the invisible to sight "heat" rays would pass through and ignite gun cotton at the point of focus.
Conversely, a clear "white" glass or chemical "Lense" would stop all "heat" rays and allow only the light visible rays to pass through. The gun cotton would not ignite. No matter how bright, the temperature remained low.
Another simple experiment is to have a lady sit outside on a hot summer day, with one leg covered with a white stocking, the other with a black stocking. After awhile the leg covered with the black stocking will become too hot to bear. The black (dark) stocking allows the HEAT rays (or forces) to pass through. The white stocking impedes or repels the passage of any heat for a much longer period and remains "relatively" cooler. The dark color absorbs the heat rays, the white color repels them.
The consensus of Churchward and his copied physicist friend, is that LIGHT VISIBLE RAYS from the Sun (or even a light bulb) carry NO heat rays (or forces). And dark, UNSEEN HEAT RAYS from the Sun carry NO light rays (or forces). Right or wrong, they concluded that any HEAT or LIGHT radiating from the Sun is carried in separate rays. If true, HEAT forces cannot "break down" from LIGHT rays, or the opposite.
I don't mean the above to denigrate the ideas of Cater (or Etidorhpa), just describing an apparent contradiction.
To possibly reconcile this apparent contradiction between Churchward, his friend - and Cater (and Lloyd), I'm speculating that Cater MAY inadvertently be assigning TOO MUCH to his conception of "soft particles." Since he postulates that soft particles (or Photons) arrive INVISIBLY as rays from the Sun, might it be possible that (at least) TWO different rays arrive at the same time? One carrying what becomes LIGHT visible Photons and the other carrying what becomes (in effect) HEAT? Both may pass through the crust simultaneously but each may produce separate effects. Just speculation on my part.
Of course this does not reconcile what the Sun's rays accomplish in the atmosphere of Earth. Churchward claimed the Sun's AFFINITIVE, separate HEAT and LIGHT rays (carrying forces) "stimulate" or "agitate" Earth's own generated Heat and Light rays (carrying affinitive forces) into action or "life" within Earth's atmosphere (and on the surface).. Earth's OWN generated Light and Heat forces create the actual phenomena of Light and Heat, only after being stimulated by affinitive Sun rays (or forces). It's a fine line, but if Churchward was correct, the Sun's rays (carrying affinitive forces) do not DIRECTLY heat or light up the atmospheric particles and the surface of the earth. He provides many reasonable proofs to support this, a number of which I've posted before.
Cater instead, apparently assumes (similar to orthodoxy) that ALL of Earth's light and heat comes DIRECTLY and only from the Sun, in his universal "energy," soft particles (and Photons) which DIRECTLY produce heat and light in the atmosphere, the surface, and through "transformation" and lowering "frequency" passing deeply through the crust, inner light, heat and "gravity inducing radiations" (Earth's "source of elemental gravity"). This seems another contradiction.
But speculating again in an attempt to reconcile contradictions... because ALL these rays passing through the crust are at first INVISIBLE to sight, more than just Light Photons and Heat rays may arrive from the Sun. It may be that OTHER invisible rays or forces, such as magnetic rays and electromagnetic rays (and others impossible to identify) may simultaneously reach our atmosphere and enter the crust , there to carry out quite different effects. Cater may be lumping together many separate and very different forces, under a single convenient name, "soft particles." Orgone and Prana also may have somewhat different "qualities," but be lumped into his catch-all concept name of "soft particles," Again, just speculating.
Also Dean, Cater seems to infer that the Earth itself is rather an ineffectual body. All meaningful Heat, Light, Prana, etc. radiate from our Sun. It alone produces the universal soft particle "elixir." Questions: Is our Sun an "only" one? Or is there ANOTHER, greater Sun that radiates similar "soft particles" TO our Sun... thereby "stimulating" our Sun to produce the soft particles needed to keep its satellites "alive" and in motion? (Please don't say everything comes from the ETHER soft particles! That would be a cop out!)
Have Cater (or you) speculated about a distant possible "greater" soft particle producing Sun, "feeding" our Sun?
Churchward did. He called it our Sun's far, far distant, RULING Sun, whose great centrifugal, repellant rays and magnetic, pulling rays control our Sun's orbit and cause it to rotate on an axis. The ruling Sun ALSO "attracts" out of our Sun, volumes of specialized rays and forces that then radiate outward to our Sun's satellites, affecting ONLY them, holding each of them in different "neutral zone" orbits, while also rotating each on an axis. Whether these rays or forces be lumped together and labeled "soft particles" or whatever, seems unimportant. These magnetic and other rays plus the Sun's centrifugal, repellant rays and forces, control the movements of all satellites in our Solar System. Who will deny this is happening?
If YOU can reconcile the description above, with Cater and Lloyd, please do so and inform me. But perhaps they cannot be reconciled. I think the rest of the Etidorhpa text below is irrelevant to the preceding. LLoyd, who wrote it (NOT "God"), makes some excellent metaphysical points below and throughout Etidorhpa, but they are not FACTS set in concrete. From my (still uncompleted) reading of your online Etidorhpa text and story I find a lot to agree with that may be true, but also some that seems faulty. But I'm not through reading yet! - Dick

In my research I also felt/found Admiral Byrd to be a Freemason. It seems a person almost has to be to "be in the know". But this is a great reference site.
I have also felt that the Man in Etidorhpa was involved in the Freemasons, and that the book was non-fiction, as is so many works publish under fiction. It is probably one of the reasons the book is no longer printed.
