Yuccatan!

People,

I saw a documentary a while ago about the Maya indians on the Yuccatan
penninsula. Amazing. A couple of thousand years ago they had a rather
advanced civilization. They were very advanced in astronomy and the
mathematics needed to make the predictions,e.g., they could calculate
the eclipses. Thier towns dotted the whole penninsula, they really
populated a wide area. And the construction in each town were large
constructions, there were complexes; not just one temple at the center
of things. How could they achieve all this if their civilization were
not shepherded by some other, more advanced civilization? Von Daniken
always talks about beings visiting from far away galaxies in
spaceships, but I am not comfortable with this. How could they
maintain a presence over such vast distances?

More than likely, they were guided by underground influence. There
are long labyrinths underneath their temples, some of them go deep,
and new extensions are always being uncovered. Who knows what is
under there.

How could they have built those temples and lifted those rocks
without using the wheel? And how could they not have known about the
wheel if they played ball and were so advanced in mathematics? What
if they were overseen by an advanced civilization from underground
which had knowledge of antigravitics like the Buddhists do, or did?

I speculate that by the time the Spaniards arrived, they had already
gone underground, leaving only the lower classes on top exposed and vulnerable. These were the people that the Spaniards found when
they arrived. Something along these lines.
