Yes sure @deandddd , in a sense all Galaxies , being spirals , are whirlpools !

Well said @deandddd , actually right from the electron , to the atom , to the hurricane and even upto the galaxy - all are whirlpools (vortexes) of energy .

Also , this Holographic design of our Cosmos reflects the sacred Universal principle of "as above , so below" .
