I can't help but wonder, even though this is very little water, if it is preparing us for much more news and information about the Moon with regards to natural resources and habitability of the Moon... Including an atmosphere as @deandddd has been so keen to illustrate in the past does actually exist:

I think it's doubly significant that this news is coming from China... definitely seems like they're "priming" us. Who knows, but that they'll next acknowledge the moon being hollow...?

That's cool, Soretna! It would be awesome if there really was water on the moon, as in water that can be seen with the eye and touched with the hands.
