A fascinating theory of a hollow instead of a solid sphere as the shape of our earth has been under active consideration and research for over two centuries. There are several Websites on the Internet supporting this theory with a large mass of solid information of various kinds.

The Hollow Earth Theory

The Hollow Earth Theory states that the earth is not a solid sphere with a central, hot magma which is yet to cool, but a hollow sphere that has a thick crust of landmass only around the circumference, with openings at the north and south poles. There is an 'inner sun' at the centre of the earth. The ring of land crust is supposed to be between 600 and 800 miles in thickness and the polar openings between 100 and 1400 miles in diameter. This leaves a space of over 7000 miles at the centre, which is hollow.

In direct contravention to the proportion of land and water mass being of the ratio 1:4 on the surface, the inner crust has this proportion in the ration 4:1, that is, four-fifths of land and only one-fifth of water. The reason for this reversal is that the floors of the surface oceans are actually landmass on the inner side!

A unique feature of this theory is that it logically confronts the currently accepted solid earth theory, with facts that orthodox science has overlooked. The adherents of this theory point to its origins in the religious myths throughout the world, the science fiction works of the 17th and 18th centuries, and the 'anomalies' found during the Arctic expeditions undertaken over the last two centuries.

Some of these adherents subscribe to the thinking that a whole civilization
of prosperous, peaceful and technologically more advanced humans live in a world of highly evolved vegetable and animal life sustained by the 'inner sun' of the hollow earth, on the vast continents of land mass that form the inner side of the surface world we are living.

There are also people who think that the stories of dark entities such as the werevolves, vampires, ghosts and other ghastly creatures that are said to occupy the caverns under the earth might have some element of truth in them.

Gary,

The understanding that the Earth is hollow is definitely there in the culture and classic literature of the Hindus, and they number one sixth of the world's population!

But nobody reads that literature in its original language, sanskrit. Hindus read translations and summaries of their scriptures, and this is the problem because the idea of a hollow world isn't usually brought out. I guess the modern day translators simply do not know how to deal with it and fear rejection.

But if we could penetrate into the Hindu culture, showing them that their own literature tells of the hollow portion of the Earth, with even a description or two, well, I think that something like that could provide the push we need.

making that book so easily available to the Hindus is an important first step.

Most interesting, I didn't realize that, I thought it would have been common knowledge for them. But, it makes perfect sense, it is the same with the translators of the bible, even though the hollow Earth is talked about in a lot of verses, (and, was no doubt common knowledge in ancient times when these various texts were written) it is not now understood/or/doesn't fit in with the current paradigm, so they alter their translations as they see fit. Thanks for the extra insight Dean. Gary

Gary,

Yeah, about translations of scriptures, think about the following. I heard at a lecture once that the same word in the ancient Greek Bible that is translated as "eternal damnation" has a parallel in Sanskrit i.e., it's almost the same word, and in Sanskrit the meaning, given context and everything, is "cycle of birth and death" (which, by the way, does seem to be eternal once you come to this world) Anyway, modern Christians have no idea about this issue. If they knew the Bible made references to reincarnation, if that is what it really is, they would fall out of their chairs.

So it's similar with the references to the hollow world in the Puranas. Hindus are not aware of all this. But it is prominent and rather obvious in their literature.

How ironic for us; we who are trying to spread the word.

So what I would like to do is harness the authority of their scripture and get the Hindus included, so to speak. That would be like hitting a grand slam in the bottom of the ninth with two outs when you're down by three runs and then ending up whith the whole ballgame.

Hi Dean and Gary,
I think It's going to be like scenes out of the movie 'They Live.'

A lot of Us are going to experience a lot of stuff almost as if It's in slow motion.

The cattle that are still asleep, will continue to just sort of sleep walk through life, blissfully unaware
that anything is changing.

The next little while is going to be very interesting.

I have read the Visdom of the Vedas, but now I am reading one of the Puranas.
The Vishnu Puranas and the Skanda Puranas,
I havent found so far anny indication that the H.E. is a place for good beings.
The semigod sent the demons in the underground while they enjoy the earth,
here on the crust. This does not give me any joy to know that the bad
entities are down there and the semigods where living on top of mountains,
like Arunachala, Himalaia, Meru, ect.
But who ever wrote this Epic a while ago, knew something about life in undergrounds.
