Twitter?

arena dreams,

From what i've been hearing, YahooGroups! may not even be continued for too much longer.

You all had better get over to Facebook and get on Gary Fleck's Hollow Earth group. They have 5,000 members that have gotten on in one year, and the posting is lively. I'll be there, posting away every day.

Dean , unfortunately Facebook is under 100% surveillance by the PTB , there is no anonymity/privacy , and that is something which may not be very desirable for our group and the kind of topics we discuss .

So , unless anyone has an objection, I personally would prefer to continue posting on this Yahoo group even if much fewer number of people are reading it .

However , for those who are comfortable posting on Facebook it's just fine by me .

Regards

I understand about themonitoring, but I imagine that Yahoo gets monitored, too. I think that we can contiinue on both because one thing I am preceiving is that it is not so automatic that the 5,000 members on Facebook all click on the posting. Perhaps it takes some cultivation of their interest in a particular person and his or her type of posting. I don't know.

I'm not really interested in social media like Facebook that does not condone anonymity. Any other options here guys?

Do you all really think that Yahoo! is anonamous?

Yes, the monitoring part is not so much the problem as is the account
verification mechanism. I know someone that is highly interested in this
topic and has been crouching in the corner and is a software and web
developer. They have expressed interest in possibly helping out by starting
a new forum as a receptical for a more privacy conducive conversation
repository than is any of these resources we currently have. Any interest?

I think that he/she is also receptive to current main players in this list
and other places to being moderators for such a resource so that we
maintain continuity and community.

Dean , it's very true that we live in a world today , where there is pervasive surveillance by the PTB . So nothing is completely safe or anonymous/private .

Relatively speaking though , Yahoo is a lot safer than Facebook , which is totally in cahoots with the establishment . Mark Zuckerberg is their blue eyed boy . Despite appearances , he's actually a "conformist" , not quite the maverick he tries to project .

The way Facebook operates , they encourage herd mentality . Each Facebook user is constantly being "profiled" by the nature of posts he or she is making . There are sophisticated software analytics being run on it all the time and posts being made today will become part of a user's profile that could haunt them for years in their professional and personal lives in ways they cannot begin to imagine . Facebook is totally compromised .

All data on Facebook is stored in secret data centers , some of them located in DUMBs (Deep Underground Military Bases) . From an IT perspective , technologies like Facebook are inherently designed with "backdoors" , designed by the establishment for 24/7 snooping on unsuspecting "sheeple" not people (let's all wake up !)

Facebook is really quite insidious - it's just about OK for small talk and casual socialising , but NOT for any serious stuff that could upset the applecart of the PTB

Here's an idea; How about using unseen.is? It's an Iceland based e-mail server and I notice they have chat areas, I'll look into it a bit more and send you a link.

Sheridan,

Do so. You have caught my interest.

Dean

I just sent a link to unseen.is to the group. Take a look, it's supposed to be secure and has an option to creating chat groups.

c'mon Dean, are we not intergalactic by now?

Hi Sheridan , this link on unseen.is you sent seems OK , definitely a LOT safer than Facebook - which is meant for the "herd" ! Also , their servers are hosted in Iceland , a country known for it's better respect of citizens' privacy .

The other option is Dark net , but we probably should not go there
