The author of The Arctic Home of the Vedics, Tilak, knew that Vedic culture had existed in the Arctic zone from comments conserved in the Vedas (And many Vedic artifacts have been found up there). In one prayer it is mentioned that from the speaker's perspective, the Sun rises on the left and sets on the right, and that the days are of six months duration. This is only possible from the Arctic zone, in Antarctica the opposite is obtained.
Tilak couldn't fathom that the planet is hollow, therefore, he couldn't imagine that the source of the Arctic's Vedic population was from within the planet. Surprise, surprise!

You made a good point. Why would the Germans have put so much effort into Anarctic exploration without having investigated right above their heads? And if they had investigated above their heads and found something, would they have let out the secret?
By the same token, I doubt Hitler was operating in a vaccum and that his career was just as we observed it. Surely he was the front man for one of the powers-that-be, underground forces that manipulate the surface world, and was carrying out agendas.
He might have been making suggestions about the hollow earth, threatening to blow the cover off the secrecy, therefore only investigating at a place that was so inacessible as to pose no immediate threat, only make the point that he could blow the cover. I doubt that the existence of the HE was unknown to a power block that was so strong and influential on the planet.

I think anyone who interested, needs also to back to the period of the early 1900s before WW1 and trace
Hitler's life from then on.
If I recollect rightly, as a young man he was part of the Secret Society network of Germany.
He became a very powerful psychic and even a one stage sent a contact to England to set up a meeting
with the Beast, known of course as Aleister Crowley.
The secret society networks of the world knew of each other and sometimes exchanged info.
I think Joseph Farrell in his earlier book[s] would have written about him too.
He had many conversations with German scientists and historians in order to get a feel for that time period
in Germany.
Aliester founded I think the New Dawn society, and through ceremony was in touch with entities from various
dimensions from /in the 'hollow earth'.
As Joseph is want to say, very dark and scary stuff.
It really depends how far down the rabbit hole, as David Icke would say, each individual, on this whole subject,
in order to get past the veneer on the surface, each individual researcher wants to go.
But, lots of good stuff to emerge into the Light of day, over the next ten years, that I'll be looking forward too
with great relish, that hasn't seen any Light for about 13.000 Human years.
Whether or not most of Humanity will enjoy what's to come down the turnpike, is another matter, entirely.

Exactly, and also Hitler had the backing of many powerful people who actually were responsible for putting him in power, and he knew that, but later on he got a swelled head and thought he could do whatever he wanted so he was brought down in part by the same elite that put him in power. In south pole we have a entire ice covered continent.Much more convenient for explorations,entrance and establish bases .North pole is another story.I tought about that long time ago and we may suppose that Rudolf Hess story is all about.Remember they hanged him at 90s something..

He might have been making suggestions about the hollow earth, threatening to blow the cover off the secrecy, therefore only investigating at a place that was so inacessible as to pose no immediate threat, only make the point that he could blow the cover. I doubt that the existence of the HE was unknown to a power block that was so strong and influential on the planet.
