That German fellow Ilian commented that the inhabitants of the underground city that he was taken to made no pretense of practicing Budhism.
I think that the undergrounders just make a pretense so that they can wean us away from traditional concepts.
In the Vedic literature visits by the celestials are presented. So sometimes I think that someone will come to save us.
But a modern commentator on the Vedic literature, A C Bhaktivedanta Swami, stated once that the demigods wouldn’t even come here to urinate, so who is going to come and save us?

The most intriguing potential location of Shambhala is Balkh in North-Western Afghanistan on the old Silk Road…it was called “Bactria” by the Greeks and is a place with a very fascinating ancient history/prehistory .

I am sure that the Tibetan underground kingdom extended down as far as Central Asia and Babylon.
They tusseled with the Jews back then, and are still at it!
