@Soretna , these rotating pillars are actually fragments of lost memory of such “machinery” used in ancient Vimanas and other technological marvels of that era . By the way , Tibetan prayer wheels found in their monasteries high up in the Himalayas are somewhat similar…a simpler variant of the same idea !
