Point Barrow

Members,

According to the Point Barrow Eskimo post, if we were to fly from Point
Barrow to above the New Siberian Islands, we would run across the opening.
Especially during the Arctic night. We should see a luminous dome where the
opening is. H.D. Northrup said that it was visible during the entire Arctic
night.

You know, it would be an inteesting idea to at least re-settle in Point
Barrow just to live. Then at one point in one's life, one could make the
dash when an opportunity presented itslf. In the beginning, one could drive
a cab or wait on tables, just to get started.

Just thinking,

Dean

hey dean, i think you have the most plausible answer for making a successful journey to the arctic landmass/polar entrance. unfortunately, a covert mission is the most likely to succeed due to the worlds current political climate. this, i think, needs to be remembered when planning a future trip.

Here, below, is the kind of stuff I found on the web, Yahoo, about living
in Alaska. Point Barrow and Valdez are pretty far North.

I don't want to be fanatic andd suggest that every one drop their jobs and
grabs the kids and dog and go to Alaska. But if one day you entertain the
thought of doing some searching, it might behoove you to live up near where
the opening is. Barrow is really not too far from the opening. It is just
something to think about.

Hi Again,
It sounds to me like you shouldn't go Krissy. I spent quite a few years
growing up in Faribanks when I was a kid, and always lived out of town.
Those years were the best of my life really, but I was a child who spent his
leasure time out in the woods and along the banks of the Chena River with
his friend (there were a total of two boys I had contact with).

I've been spoiled myself now, after living in town for 20 years here in
Anchorage. I'm in a spot where I can walk to the 7-11/gas station, the
video store, and to zaks yogurt shop (that one's a mile though). If I need
more, anything I need is 15 minutes away max. It only takes 15 minutes to
drive to and from work. I don't think I could live out of town anymore, as
I've changed. If I need a walk in the woods to get away from the
development, there's 3000 acres within 5 minutes (I have to get off the
path to have any privacy though).

I'm going out on a limb here, but I am guessing you are oil related or you
probably wouldn't be giving Valdez another thought. For oil jobs, options
are pretty much Anchorage and Fairbanks areas. Anchorage is not a bad
place, but it is quite different from the rest of the state. I don't know
what's best for you, or what's best for raising family. On the family
side, I'd say watch who your kids associate with. Small town or large, your
kids will learn from those around them and your job will be easier if they
are around good role models.

If you want to come to Alaska, try Anchorage or Fairbanks first and check
out the rest. If your only thinking of Alaska because a job opportunity in
Valdez, I'd suggest not doing it. You've seen small town life. In Valdez,
you'll be close to or in the small town, but you'll also have the longer
winters and wetter weather.

If you're the one who is most reluctant, fly to Valdez and check it out.
Alaska Airlines has web specials that might get you to Anchorage pretty
cheap, and then you can drive or fly on in to Valdez.

Members,

From Chapter seven of The Hollow Earth:

The word "Agharta" is of Buddhist origin. It refers to the Subterranean
World or Empire in whose existence all true Buddhists fervently believe.
They also believe that this Subterranean World has millions of inhabitants
and many cities, all under the supreme domination of the subterranean world
capital, Shamballah, where dwells the Supreme Ruler of this Empire, known in
the Orient as the King of the World. It is believed that he gave his orders
to the Dalai Lama of Tibet, who was his terrestrial representative, his
messages being transmitted through certain secret tunnels connecting the
Subterranean World with Tibet.

Similar mysterious tunnels honeycomb Brazil. Brazil in the West and Tibet in
the East seem to be the two parts of the Earth where contact between the
Subterranean World and the surface world may be most easily achieved, due to
the existence of these tunnels.

The famous Russian artist, philosopher and explorer, Nicholas Roerich, who
traveled extensively in the Far East, claimed that Lhasa, capital of Tibet,
was connected by a tunnel with Shamballah, capital of the subterranean
empire of Agharta. The entrance of this tunnel was guarded by lamas who were
sworn to keep its actual whereabouts a secret from outsiders, by order of
the Dalai Lama. A similar tunnel was believed to connect the secret chambers
at the base of the Pyramid of Gizeh with the Subterranean World, by which
the Pharaohs established contact with the gods or supermen of the
underworld.

The various gigantic statues of early Egyptian gods and kings, as those of
Buddha found throughout the Orient, represent subterranean supermen who came
to the surface to help the human race. They are generally represented as
sexless. They were emissaries of Agharta, the subterranean paradise which it
is the goal of all true Buddhists to reach.

Members,

I think that this is the general idea. I don't know that ALL of Dr. Raymond
Bernard's ( the author ) ideas on Agartha were correct, but I think that
most surface cultures, if not all, have an ancient link with the hollow
portion. I go over this in my article called The Hollow Earth and the Aryan
Invasion Revised. Notice that the Russian culture, and all the cultures of
Northen Europe were Indo European. The Hindus feel that the different
cultures of Europe were warrior cultures which left India- The avatar
Parasurama met 21 different such communities in battle, 21 different times,
and banished them from India. Europeans are definitely of warrior stock!
Vikings, Germans, Romans, et cetera.

But why would expulsed warrior communities go to Northern Europe, of all
places? Why not the tropical island of Mauritius, or some other tropical
area? Maybe some place in Thailand? It is obvious that those cultures
spilled out from the hollow portion through the opening.

And the Hindus say that the Parasurama Avartar appeared in Goa in India. I
don't know about that. The Puranas were revised at some point- long
stretches of the Puranas are written in post Vedic Sanskrit. So I don';'t
know that we can attach such absolute credence to each word. What if
somebody comes along 5,000 years from now and confuses York with New York?
Some archaeologist, let's say. What if Parasurama threw these deviant
warrior communities out of the hollow portion? What if there is a Goa in
there. And Ayodhya of the Rama Avatar?

I'm not insisting on these last points, but we have to stop and re-consider
the Vedic version in the light of the Hollow Earth Theory. Certainly no
philosophical conclusions are threatened. Maybe the unfortunate contrast of
our situation, with the situation of the hollow earthers, inclined them to
allow some things to be forgotten from the collective momory of the surface
population, including the Hindu surface population.

List Members,

I don't want any of you to think that I'm crazy or being pushy, but this
idea of re-locating to Alaska keeps intriguing me. ( Location, location,
location! )

I think that it would be very interesting to have a contact or two up there
near the Arctic coast. A person there could make contacts and get accustomed
to the weather ( yeah, right ). If other list members really decided one day
to give it a try ( good bye forever! ), then they would have a point of
reference and a jumping off platform. ( For example, they could jump off
your apartment's balcony in Fairbanks ) # ;^ )

I don't think that it would be so hard to get situated in Alaska. A person
could arrive one day and get a job driving a taxi from one day to the next,
and have money coming in right away. That would help while the person looked
for something more permanent. I pushed a hack over the summers while I was
in college, you learn right away. You park in front of a hotel and someone
jumps in.

The United States of America is DESPERATE for teachers everywhere, what to
speak of outlandish places such as Fairbanks or Point Barrow by the shore of
the Arctic ocean. If five years from now list members put up some bucks to
charter an airplane, then they could all meet at such a person's house. The
person could make the arrangements from right there and then hop in the
plane once the group got there.

Again, I am just thinking out loud but, you know, there is a method to the
madness.

Who is single and unencumbered?

Dharma/Dean

hey dean, i think that sounds like a good idea too. there is a large navy base there as well. good for another civilian job resource, but bad for being more easily looked upon, especially in a somewhat small town. i believe any successful expedition will be one that is planned in person and not over the computer or phones, per the NSA's Project Echelon program. Any potential tunnel systems down where you live in brazil?
dave

Dave,

So there is a navy base. I had heard about a large military presence, but I
didn't know what. What do they have up there, icebreakers?

Yes, it's a matter of having someone get to know the region and make
contacts. It's the best way.

Sao Tomé das Letras is about 5 hours from here. That's the cave that David
Hatcher Childress talked about on Laura Lee. And I contacted a lady real
close to me who is from there, who has land within walking distance. Her
land is a t the entrance of the valley, and " her people " have land along
the valley, and another one of her " people " has land closing the valley.
She is into some kind of nature-worshipping religion, they even dance around
fire sacrifices, and she came right out and told me about undergrounders way
inside of that tunnel- it's not a cave, it is a straight tunnel. She told me
about a mountain that you can travel over horseback and even tell by the
steps that it's hollow.

But she told me about " daaark " people living underneath and strange people
living in the area, people who don't welcome strangers. She said that there
are lots of openings around thee, but that most of the land with openings on
it is ownedby these " daaaark " people, and let's just say that she advised
me to keep my nose out of there.

In fact, when she found out what I'm into, with the list and all, she
basically cut it right there.

Dharma/Dean

Members,

I've posted this twice and the stupid list provider has been sitting on it
for a good 14 hours. That Sao Tomé post took twelve.

From Mike Mott's book " Caverns, Cauldrons and Concealed Creatures:
http://www.hiddenmysteries.com/cartwebtv/af/hm01/index0.html

  1. THE MORE THINGS CHANGE, THE MORE THEY STAY THE SAME
Norman L. (his name changed at his request), a single father living in the
mountainous region of North Alabama, is one person who can testify to the
truth of this continued intrusiveness. His wife had become deeply involved
in caving (spelunking), leaving Norman and their toddler daughter to care
for themselves most of the time.

The wife became engrossed and fascinated with the past-time of caving, and
often reported to her husband of seeing UFOs during some of the expeditions
made with her hard-partying friends, multiple-day trips into remote and
sometimes almost-inaccessible areas near "wild" caves and pits. The marriage
began to deteriorate for a variety of reasons, many of them traceable to the
obsession of the wife for spelunking; and strange phenomena began to occur
around the house when the wife was home, or on the rare outing with the
family.

Around nine one evening this family of three paid a visit to a local
department store, one of the type which incorporates "mart" into its name.
This store was located near a large ridge of mountains which ran alongside
the eastern edge of the town, mountains which are honeycombed with caves and
pits. The oldest part of the town itself is said to sit atop an ancient
network of caverns, around which many local legends revolve. So husband,
wife, and child cruised the aisles of the supermarket, when both adults
became aware of an intense sense of presence.

The back corner of the store was unusually dark, as if some of the lighting
were either dimmed or out. At the end of an intersecting aisle a strange
figure lurked, literally leering at them as they walked by. According to
Norman L., this figure was hideously malformed, in that he had no
discernable neck, almost no chin, misshapen ears and facial features, and a
decidely evil, grimacing disposition. His eyes were squinted and piggish,
his head literally "squarish." His rounded, hunched body was wrapped in very
loose clothing, primarily an immense flannel shirt which hid the true
contours of his body. His attitude was definitely menacing as he transferred
his gaze from the man, to the child riding in the shopping cart. He leaned
forward as if to get a better look.

Norman stepped forward defensively, even though he was filled with an
instinctive revulsion by this being. He insists that the person they
encountered wasn't human, an opinion that his wife at the time had concurred
with. Norman's take on this strange voyeur?

"He simply wasn't a human being. He looked human in a fundamental,
first-glance kinda way, but he was something else. He had a strong air of
evil and hate about him. He actually looked like a troll."

Upon seeing Norman's reaction, the creature slunk back into the shadows of
the aisle and was soon left behind.

Over the next year, the marriage dissolved and ended. Norman ended up with
custody of the daughter, and took her with him everywhere. One night they
visited a below-ground-level toystore in a local multi-level shopping mall;
with the exception of the sales clerk standing near the front of the store,
they were the only people in the place. Or so it seemed.

As his young daughter squatted to play with toys on the bottom of the shelf,
Norman became aware of another presence. He turned to see a small child
slowing meandering down the aisle toward them, seemingly a thin little girl
of about five or six years of age. Suddenly this "child" made a quick move
toward his daughter, and Norman scooped her up and took several steps back.

"It wasn't a little girl," he says. "It was wearing a dingy yellow dress,
had a girl's shoes and socks on, and its hair looked loose on its head, like
a straight black wig, very artificial in appearance--kind of like a "Prince
Valiant (haircut)." Its skin was abnormally pale, the eyes wide-set and
almost at the side of its head, 'wrapping around the edge,' sort of. The
eyes were almond-shaped, turning up at the outer edges, but squinty, and
they were pure black or dark brown. There were no whites to the eyes at all!
They were like ink."

Thinking that perhaps this being was an unsupervised, malformed or
mentally-handicapped child, Norman took his daughter and moved over an
aisle; the little being followed them almost immediately. This was repeated
twice, but the being stood off, a bit warier than before, still staring
fixedly at Norman's daughter. He picked her up and they looked around the
store for the parent of the "disturbed child," but there was no other
shopper in the place. Aggravated, Norman complained to the cashier at the
front of the store, asking that he have the parents of the child come
supervise "it."

The cashier reacted with complete surprise. "You and your daughter are the
only customers in the store, sir," he said. A quick look determined that
this was in fact so, and no one had exited by way of the only way of egress
in the front of the business. A quick look through the store by both men
failed to reveal the strange "child."

Over time, many additional facts came out, largely gleaned from the
daughter, who had been to visit her mother upon occasion. The child was
terrified to make these visits, indicating that, among other things, she had
been taken into wild, dangerous caves, leaned over pits (and allegedly
almost dropped into one, to luckily be caught by the mother's boyfriend),
and other such insanity. Eventually the mother's visitations were terminated
completely, but this raises the question of motivation and influence--what
would lead a mother to risk the life of her child in such a callous, almost
sacrificial way? The child also witnessed UFO manifestations during one of
the caving trips with her mother. Since that time, the girl has grown to be
a happy and healthy teen, and no further instances of this type of encounter
have troubled her, or her father.

First-hand accounts like this abound. Another account, also from the
mountains of east-central Alabama, involves a group of children (now adults)
who saw what they termed "a leprechaun," following them through the woods
one evening. Initially noticed as he sat atop an outcropping of mossy rock,
this entity hopped down from his perch as the kids passed, maintaining a
respectful distance, but he paralleled the children for miles, scaring them
badly.

He was described by the now-grown woman and two men as being some two or
three feet in height, wearing green clothing, and looking quite sinister.

It's interesting to note that the TAG (a National Speleological Society
term) or Tennessee-Alabama-Georgia region is considered to be one of the
most densely caverned areas in North America. Many accounts of mysterious
lights, UFOs, livestock mutilations, and strange deaths and disappearances
have come from this region. Tales of "haints" and "boogers" abound in the
hills and mountains, and some spelunkers joke to cover up their fear when
they talk about "hodags," unseen cave entities which cut rope or pull it up
behind cavers after a descent; drop or throw rocks and boulders; mislead
with mysterious noises; and create other such strange occurences.

Members,

Speaking of the Moon, don't forget Luna city. Get some background.

I observed the Moon a bit tonight. I was able to observe the crater Barrow,
which is close to the Lunar N. Pole. Due to the libration ( a backwards
tilt ) I was not able to view the Lunar crater, Gioja, but I saw it once.
From here, it looks like a crater.
