Maitreya.
The coming of a messiah, or just another prophet of doom.
All religions await the return of 'the teacher.' Christians wait for the return of Christ. Muslims await the Imam Mahdi, Hindus, a reincarnation of Krishna, the Jews await the Messiah.The Buddhist's wait for Maitreya.
Maitreya emerged from his dwellings in the Himalayas in July 1977. Since then he has made his home in London in a variety of guises all concerned with today's problems; political, economic and social. It is understood that Maitreya first made himself known 2000 years ago in Palestine by overshadowing his disciple Jesus, who had become, the Master Jesus.
Since March 1978, Maitreya has been emerging as a spokesperson for the Pakistan-Indian community where he is believed to signify a change in international affairs. His edict; to aid humanity with its problems, the first being famine, which he eradicate by calling the leaders of the world to act in unison. Some of these leaders are already aware of his existence.
From famine he will go on to show humanity how to regenerate itself and to anchor brotherhood and world peace by creating a civilisation based on sharing, justice and co-operation. Only a few know of his true status. He says it is not his wish "to impose on humanity's own free will."
In a paper known as 'The Emergence,' Maitreya said, "Hopes now run high for My appearance. Gladly would I present myself to the people. Look for me then, and find me waiting. Search for me then, and grasp my hand. I need your help to come before you, to bless this world and teach. To show men that the way forward is simple, requires only the acceptance of justice and freedom, sharing and love."
Few believe in Maitreya's claims to be a prophet or messiah, but his emergence has been well documented:

14 MAY 1982:
Benjamin Creme, the British Editor in Chief of Share International magazine, claims to have telepathic contact with Maitreya, giving him "up-to-date information on his emergence. At a press conference in Los Angeles, he tells the press that Maitreya is living in London within the Asian community. He challenges the media to invite the world teacher to come forward. The media does not respond
31 JULY 1985:
Twenty-two journalists, representing east and west, gather in the East End of London in the hope of contacting Maitreya or his representatives. Maitreya takes steps towards His Declaration.
AUGUST 1987:
Benjamin Creme announces "In the coming months Maitreya will be working intensely to bring about a breakthrough in international relationships in the world."
Less than a month later in September, the Americans and the Soviets meet. In December, they reach an arms agreement no one thought possible.
1988:
Maitreya appears both in person and in dreams to a number of international leaders as well as ordinary civilians. Crosses of light, supposedly a sign of his coming, are reported by thousands of people.
APRIL:
One of Maitreya's close associates in London begins giving interviews to two journalists. Their articles, published in Benjamin Creme's Share International Magazine, outline Maitreya's teachings and the events he expects to occur.
11 JUNE:
Maitreya appears unexpectedly in Nairobi, Kenya. He is photographed addressing thousands of people who instantly recognise him as the Christ.
21-22 APRIL 1990:
In London, Maitreya invites dignitaries from around the world to hear him. They include diplomats, royalty, church leaders and journalists.
Maitreya appears and disappears several times, as though teleporting and speaks of his 'mission.'
1991:
Maitreya makes a series of appearances. He says he intends to show himself again to large numbers in different countries.
Teleporting with the Pope
Of course people will doubt the authenticity of these claims and indeed of Maitreya's existence, but he has made no attempt to hide from the media as interest has grown in him. Indeed the man many call 'Maitreya the Christ,' has been seen speaking to thousands of people just like the Christ in the Bible.
It is also believed that Maitreya "materialised and disappeared" inside the Vatican in front of Pope Jon Paul II and an entire congress, fuelling rumours of his telepathic and teleportive powers.
The Day of Declaration
On the Day of Declaration "when the world has acknowledged" his existence and is ready, Maitreya says he will demonstrate his true identity. On this day, the international radio and television networks will be linked together, and Maitreya will be invited to speak to the people. Millions will see his face on television, but each of us will hear him telepathically in our native languages. Even those not watching television or listening to the radio will have this experience. At the same time hundreds of thousands of healings will take place throughout the world.
For some, Maitreya is a prophet or teacher, sent to the world to save us from imminent destruction. But is not only the followers of Maitreya who believe the Earth is on a crash course with disaster:
The Star Knowledge Conference
On June 12-16 1996, The Star Knowledge conference took place in South Dakota, America. This was an 'emergency' meeting of spiritual leaders from across the globe.
The conference was called by the Sioux's spiritual leader or 'Lakota,' called Standing Elk, in response to a vision. The vision illustrated a Native American belief in the 'Star Nations' (extraterrestrials) and revealed to Standing Elk, that for the first time this knowledge and insight was to be shared, with everyone. Leaders from tribes all over the world went to Dakota, including the Chief Maori, or Shaman, from New Zealand as well as a spokesperson for the Sammi of Lapland, who represented the people from above the Arctic Circle.
Visions, dating thousands of centuries had been seen, prompting thousands to attend.
The coming of the fifth world
According to the spiritual leaders at the conference, our planet has reached breaking point. The point at which man must turn and prepare for what the spiritual elders call the "coming of the fifth world." This is believed by them, to mark the end of the fourth world and is a step towards reaching the spiritual world. The spiritual world will come after the ninth world.
The Maori and Icelandic tribes, described with great detail at the conference, how their ancestors came from the stars and how they had been sent signs to ensure all were present in Dakota.
The Sioux tribe also believes its ancestors came from the stars, Specifically from the Pleiades star system. Other tribes believe their ancestors came from Sirius and Orion, suggesting that extraterrestrials are responsible for the creation of man.
Those who accept the beliefs these ancient tribes, suggest the aliens or ancestors, were sent to help man in the beginning, guiding him through his evolution.
Perhaps these aliens are so ancient that they have managed to reach a greater spiritual enlightenment than man. Maintaining a higher understanding than man currently has prompts the suggestion that the Star People, or aliens, were mediators between us and the Gods.
Maitreya was believed to be one of these Gods before he descended to Earth to help man himself.
Whatever the reason for alien visitation, the Dakota conference made it clear that the Earth is ailing rapidly and that the fifth world is approaching. Many spoke of the star people returning to help man save himself from impending doom.
One of the speakers, Floyd Hand, the spiritual advisor to the 'Oglala' tribe spoke about the 'Avatars' (world religious teachers) such as Christ, Maitreya, and Buddha. He said, "The Avatars are star people. Each Native American tribe has its extraterrestrial counterpart, its own extraterrestrial race." He explained how the star people will return in the later 1990's. Which, if Maitreya's teachings are to be believed, is already happening. He added, "Changes will begin to take place as their time draws near. The first signs are floods, fires and earthquakes. There will be a world drought in 1997-1999 and many will starve. There will be destruction of electrical and sewer lines, loss of cities and many lives."
The Signs
As well as discussions on the coming of the fifth world, explanations were also offered on a variety of unexplained phenomena, including crop circles.
A current theory from UFOlogists is that crop circles are cryptic messages sent to us from either extraterrestrials or from earth bound phenomena known as Orgone energies or natural earth energies. This theory was supported by a spiritual elder called Deer Man. He said the Earth had created the circles to illustrate its pain and interpreted a recent circle in the United States as containing a message.
The circle consisted of five concentric rings. The first four were like orbit paths around a central sun, with a planet similar to a 'bead' embedded in each orbit circle, except for the third one.
The outermost ring was a chain of densely packed 'beads' of various sizes. Deer Man said the circle represented the "Circle of Life. The four inner circles represented the traditional Four Nations of Humanity: yellow, black, red and white.
The smallest circle near the nucleus was the white race. "The Great Spirit gave the white race responsibility for fire." But the white man forgot his responsibility and so created the nuclear bomb. The elliptical orbit around this circle indicated an imbalance.
The second orbit represented the black race, which governs water. They too, have forgotten their responsibility and as a result, the water has become contaminated, causing disease.
The third orbit represents the red race, whose 'planet bead' is missing. The red race is responsible for the Earth. Their 'bead' is missing because the red nation still walks with the 'Tunkashilas' - the grandfathers, or spiritual guides.
The fourth orbit is the yellow race whose responsibility is Air. But Asian sponsored factories pollute the air, prompting Deer Man to comment, "We have brought these imbalances on ourselves. The Red Race has responsibility for the land, but cannot do so because of herbicides, acid rain and nuclear testing."
According to Deer Man, the outermost circle represented the Star Nations. He said, "The Star Nations are here to help us. The Earth was out of balance, but is re-balancing its tilt. We have to help the Earth come back into balance; time as you know is coming to an end. Sooner than you think, there will be no televisions, no cars."
Deer Man's statement suggests that the Earth will reach near disaster, but that it can be saved. He spoke of a planetary alignment that "will be powerful for the Earth."
Astronomers have also suggested that there is an imminent planetary alignment, but are less positive about its outcome. Research suggests that this may take place around the year 2000. If this alignment does occur, say the astronomers, it could pull the earth inside out.
Discussion
Man has always spoken of the end of the Earth. His whinings have been documented since Moses climbed Mount Sinai to speak with God. Each religion speaks of the beginning and looks to the end of our world as a stepping stone into a glorious new spiritual future. But whom should we believe?
What is clear, from the teachings of both Maitreya and the spiritual leaders of the world, is that man has nearly run out of time, that the Earth has had enough.
Ultimately, we as a race must make amends.
There is something within the human spirit, a light that will not go out, no matter how dark the world becomes. I believe that to be so.
And in all my heart and my soul, I pray that the human race meets its destiny, goes out there, takes its place and becomes that glorious being.
I believe in my heart that we will make it.
I must believe it, if I can't hold that hope in my heart, then I want out.

In this day, Saturday (the Sabbath) of October 26, 1996 according to Christian dating, which coincide with the day of the week Pure, 5th day of the month Bab, the year 011979 of MC (Maitreya's Calendar), we declare The Presence Of Maitreya to humanity. Accompanying this Declaration, is the announcement of the web site which presents His Teachings and His Station to humanity. www.maitreya.org
We further declare that there is no other Maitreya but Him. That Maitreya, in this present Station, has not been on earth for the last 2500 years. And no one will appear in this station for the next 1000 years. There is NO other Maitreya beside Him. Any other claims are false. He is the ONLY One who has fulfilled All the Prophecies of His coming. There is none beside Him.
There has never been a proclamation/declaration, in human history, that could have been done in this way, reaching so many people all through the earth at once. This media is the fulfilment of the prophecy:

All those who have not fulfilled ALL the Prophecies (or try to fit themselves or their prophet to the Prophecies) are false prophets. If they tell you He is here, or there, or if they tell you He is in India, the Himalayas, or London, etc., do not go. Indeed you need not go anywhere. You can read our teachings, see what we have brought to humanity and then judge who is the Truthful. They are all on line here in the Internet for all to see, examine and judge. My sheep will respond to my call, and know my Voice. They will gather together where "the carcase is!"
