There were two Lost Horizon movies, one from the 1930S, and a musical version from the 1970s. The movie is a romantic story involving Shangri'la, which is a Tibetan corruption of the name Shambhala. There is nothing factual, but it nicely serves the purpose of presenting some concepts associated with underground worlds.
The entire 1930s movie is available as a download, get it! But read the book, too, why not.
