Some of the widest craters on the moon are just NOT deep enough to have been caused by asteroid/comet impact , as NASA is conveniently trying to suggest . It's amazing how such rubbish passes off as science !! No wonder we have yet to get off this planet and properly explore/colonise other worlds .

Personally, I buy into Cater's explanation of crater formation. It accounts well for the wide and shallow type of Crater.
