Dr. Eugene Parker was the first scientist to come up with this "double dynamo" model of the Sun - till date THE most accurate predictor of the Sun's behaviour and it's Solar cycles , their impact on Earth's climate etc.
It is also true that the Sun keeps interacting with Earth's core (inner Sun) via flux transfer events (FTEs) in space , during which energy is transferred from the solar wind to Earth's magnetic field and thereby to Earth's inner Sun .
