Check out the latest post on the blog about an old Navajo story told about the Ancient Ones that go below the surface of the earth to avoid a cataclysmic polar shift. They were warned to go below by the Sky People. When they returned many years later they had grown much taller and stronger and spoke about a bright (central?) star and the many races that lived below.

Anyway, the Navajo story is very interesting and was shared with the webmaster of that site a Navajo. It's very compelling.
