Griffins from 2,500 year old mummy tattoos?

I thought the following images that are supposedly from a 2,500 year old mummy (from what sounds to be the Eurasian Steppe region from Hungary to Mongolia and Northern China) seems interesting insomuch that it shows they had the concept of what appears to be griffins - which lends credence to perhaps them having actually existed - amazing that perhaps there could be a six-limbed creature like this and it could lend support to the existence of dragons in the format they are frequently rendered:

Here are some AI renderings of the scene:

I think this one is more accurate to the original drawing insomuch that it seems that the original artist intended it to have a reptile head and neck:

The following reminded me so much of gargoyle renderings that I just couldn't resist including it:

These others - obviously - all appear to be more of the modern renderings of griffins:

@Soretna , you will find this mindblowing :-

**The "Griffin" has an uncanny resemblance to couple of legendary creatures from ancient Hindu Scriptures - The "Gandaberunda" , an Avatar of Lord Vishnu and "Sharabha" , an Avatar of Lord Shiva . These 2 are the fiercest known forms of these 2 Gods and they fought a ferocious battle with each other in these very forms !

***It gets much stranger when you consider that the "Gandaberunda" bird is THE oldest form of the symbol of a Double Headed Eagle - that now adorns the state Insignia of nations including the USA , Russia , Germany . It is even the symbol of 33rd Degree Freemasons !

Sidhartha,

What beautiful artwork!

Cheers!

Just when you are about to dismiss such ancient “creatures” as fairy tales or myths , you come across some tantalising evidence , or symbolism prevalent till the present day , which actually prove that they once existed and then it’s just JAW DROPPING :))
