Gakkel Ridge; polar movie files

In case someone needed "flyby" movies of the poles, try here:

Gakkel Ridge expedition in 2001:
http://www.mpch-mainz.mpg.de/~geo/Arctic/

If someone can write this group, perhaps you can get them to peek at
84.4N lat, 39E long... to see what the sea floor's made of... and
check for "trap doors" and the like. The group may be headed a
couple degrees away from there. Mention you're just interested in
the "geology of the Arctic Ocean floor."

Hasn't someone just thought: Aw c'mon! Can't we just get a robot sub
to whoop down and check for hollow earth trap doors or something?
It's probably like searching for a needle in a haystack. Maybe bring
Leslee Dru Browning or someone similar along! There you go. (she
can say Getting warmer, colder, noo, this way, that way...)

Here's an oddball Q-Link site: should we all be wearing these
pendants?

I liked that polar movies page. I'll get to the expedition. I doubt that it
is a simple expedition, though, as it seems to be on the surface. Walaly
Herbertalso went. But then again, we'll see.
