Fairies ...

Fairies ...

From The Secret Commonwealth, by Reverend Robert Kirk, 1691.

"His neighbors often perceived this man to disappear at a certain place, and about one hour after to become visible, and discover himself near a bow-shot from the first place. It was near that place where he became invisible, Said he, that the subterranean fairies did encounter and combat with him."

What can we learn from this account?

First of all, we can assume that, somehow or other, this man's
body became energized and he attained to the platform of a higher-frequency world; perhaps he was more susceptible to energies flowing through that spot. By attaining to its frequency, he was teleported to the strata within the crust where a corresponding world exists. At any rate, he perceived and met with higher-frequency beings, i.e., fairies.

This, we also see confirmation of the established folkloric theme that fairies are antagonistic to humans, and that their world was defined by the man as being underground!
