I wouldn't say it's necessarily the dark side of Etidorhpa. There are
peoples that live within the infrastructure (the 800 mile shell) as
well as the HE. Stories I've heard of the dark side tend to be from
the infrastructure, though there are certainly evolved races within
that portion as well.
