If there were a dynamo at the core large enough to project a magnetosphere around the planet, we would have heard it by now through seismometers.

@Soretna , @deandddd , only those who imagine Earth's interior to be like a mechanical ball bearing , could come up with such a nutty , warped idea - as in this article !

I suspect the ongoing reversal of Earth's magnetic field is causing all sorts of conjecture by mainstream scientists , who haven't yet been able to explain the true root cause behind such a reversal...hmm !
