My ego tells me that if the proponents of Orgone Energy
knew about the H.E. they would mimic materials the earth
is made of for the insulation aspect, that it would be even

Orgone is exactly what Joseph H. Cater is referring to when he speaks of soft particles, i.e., soft electrons. When particles pass through a medium, according to Cater, they go through a frequency change and reach the "soft" frequency. By the time the Sun's particloes reach the inner cavity, they have reached the "soft" frequency en masse, and the thus the climate is healthy and electrical, as Olaf Jansen commented.
Cater tells how to make an orgone water collector; it's just like you explained.

Great post Mike, ogone was/is also known by many other names, but, it is all the same force, it is also believed to be the force utilized by the Germans to power their antigravity craft. I believe it is also the same force used to power the antigravity crafts (vimanas) mentioned in the vedas. It is also mentioned in the book "The Coming Race" (believed by many to be a work of fiction) which the Nazis believed to be a true account.
