A post from a friend in Greece that commented on
the Pic sent of "devilwoman"
What the'll kind of people are you finding on the net
with spiels from psychiatric institutions seeing voids
of space inthewhite walls of a square room, remember
cube? don't waste your time! Incidently mermaids
have been reported by many human cultures around the
world including the eskimo(cold waters) and are what I
believe to be a group of sentient beings from a
waterworld and are associated with the constellation
of aquarius. They in all probability do not have human
features from the waist up--that is just romantic
fantasy.

I mermaids have been reported in so many cultures, theremustbe a reasonwhy.
I had asked you to leave the list because of your ramblings, I don't know
how you got back on.
Dean is right about this. Humanoid sea-dwellers of various
descriptions have been reported time and time again, often by
people of high reputation and character.
The picture from Greece, however, has nothing to do with this
undeniable phenomenon. The creature represented is a type of
ray or skate, seen from the bottom, and the "facial features" are
gill slits, and a mouth. Most stingrays, rays, skates, etc. have
similar features when viewed from the bottom. The appendages
are wing-like "fins" with which the VERY FLAT animal undulates
and swims through the water. Viewing it from the bottom like
that is like viewing a person from the soles of the feet. It
presents a distorted view of the reality, particularly the functional
reality.
The picture is only one step removed from the obviously
fallacious pictures of monkeys' bodies which have been sewn
onto those of fishes and passed off as "mermaids."
I don't post much, in fact this the first time, I am a sleeper just amusing myself wondering if you guys will ever catch on to what I've been into, but let me assure you there are mermaids.. because I have seen one.. I refuse to go into any details on this, until you catch up to what you should be doing on your own.. but let me point out that it probably was a narrow minded mistake to kick Dallas off the list.. -George.
I thought the object of the group was to elucidate the mysteries of the H.E. perhaps we could all catch on if you gave us a clue about what you're "into" that we are missing? BTW, I thought Dallas was a good soul too....so, do tell about the mermaid?
I presented testimony, culled from Mike Mott's book, in support of the existence of mermaids. I agree with you.
I did not feel comfortableabout havingPaul on the list. I feel bad about asking Dallas to leave andI think that, nowthat I am moderating thepostings, that I will invite Dallas back.
