Chinese rocket reentry? Fireballs, streaks of light, etc. seen over India over weekend

The following was supposedly a Chinese rocket reentering Earth's atmosphere (safely?) over India during the weekend:

If it came in over Maharastra towards China, that means it was traveling from SW to NE.

Perhaps Sidhartha could confirm this.

Come to think of it, perhaps he saw it!

Yes @Soretna , @deandddd , this was indeed debris from a Chinese rocket . Initially people thought it was a meteor shower , which was disproved once the fallen metallic parts were examined .
