bye,bye

Hi Dean,

Even before I read the mails about "bye, bye" I had considered unsubscribing. There is an awful lot of regurgitating the same ideas and assumptions and nothing really new is coming up. I have the feeling that I am no longer gaining anything from reading all these mails, as I have done and am still doing a lot of reading on various subjects. Also, I am missing a certain amount of spiritual insight and understanding here. What concerns any translations, of course I will still help where ever I can. The offer is still up !You have my e-mail address.

The very best to all of you,
bye bye, Maya

Maya and All,

I think that it is good that we are discussing this point. I think that this
list is experiencing growing pains. I sympathize. I, too, was on one list in
particular which I reluctantly left. two years later I am thinking about
going back on it. I got off because I was so overwhelmed by the quantity of
chatter on that list. I had to really wade through postings in order to get
two or three pertinent ones per week- the typical overall load was something
like 28. It was a political list, Eagle-net.

I think that the particular problem which we have here has to do with the
fact that many members are veteran hollow Earthers while many are new.I
would like to go over a lot of the Cater stuff again, and Arctic evidence,
along the lines of Polar warming, and some stuff like that. But I know that
there are people from almost a year ago who just went through a lot of that.

There are two solutions which I can think of. One would be a separate list
for old timers who just want to know if we discover a new site, or run into
some new info, or something like that. Getting on a separate list like that
would help us all stick together and remain in communication without getting
overwhelmed. People who are newer and would like to hear a bit more can stay
on this list, and I will get into some Arctic posting, astronomy posting,
aurora mechanisms in relation to a hollow configuration, et cetera. As I
say, we've spent months on this before with older list members, and I don't
think that they want to have to hear it again, though I know that they want
to stay in touch.

On the other hand, older members can just get on the daily digest instead of
receiving a rain of individual e-mails all day long, and scan down the list
for the odd post which catches their attention. This is easiest. I am on the
REALUfos list this way. I want to keep in contact with the UFO phenomenon
and be informed, but millions of e-letters are hard to deal with. So each
day I dedicate at least two minutes to maintaining the priveledge of being
able to get the news on the latest sightings and such. Even if I don't read
anything, I still pay my dues in the form of dedicating a good two minutes
to reading post titles. Every other day I do read one or two of them.

So think about what would be the best way, and POST YOUR THOUGHTS or let me
know individually. We will do something about this situation.

And I do urge you all to get some Hollow Earth literature, inform
yourselves, and let everyone know about what you've been reading and how you
feel about it. That way maybe some of us won't feel the need to " school "
people so much.

I just got Pari Spolter's book The Gravitational Force of the Sun. Looks
good, I can't wait to read it, really- to know about gravity is so important
to the HET.

My words. A kind of digest with just new facts without long quotes and
discussions would be the best solution imho.

There is a good solution to this "problem." Leave the list like it is
( I think it's fine), and let those who are pressed for time simply
switch to "digest" mode. This way they can peruse one big
message instead of many small ones, and then only if they
choose to do so. I believe that this is the reason that "digest"
exists.

The onus is on the reader, not the list.

I subscribe via digest, but tend to read and post via the web
browser.

Ok Folks,

A concensus is building up. If you have any feelings on this matter, let me
know.

Mike Mott,

Some people are talking about a separate list for oldtimers, both on and off
list I've been getting a few comments. But you could be right there, we only
do about ten osts a day, sometimes 15, sometimes even less, and how long
does it take to do the digest? It only takes me a minute to do the digest at
REAL-Ufos. Most of the time I don't open stuff, but at least I dedicate 1 -
2 minutes to check real quick. I feel that I am still in contact and a
member of the team- I feel at peace in this regard.

Maybe to taylor various lists would be hard to do.

For now, I am going to suggest that oldtimers get on the digest if they are
feeling swamped with the same HE logic. I'll make it easy. Send a request to
change to the digest to me, to my personal e-mail: [email protected] I will
get to it by Sunday night or Monday. The reason why it might take me a few
days is becausee I am going to travel ove the weekend.

Since joining allplanets-hollow, I have come to realize there are hollow
earth veterans amongst us. But although I have approached this subject as a
layman, (woman) I've found the scientific data and back-up provided by Kirk,
Paul and Sean, quite enlightening and I would hate to be divided from
valuable information, because I have not yet caught up on Etidorpha etc.
Hazel.
