i remember hearing that Srila Prabhupada had said that removing too much oil from the planet could cause her to fall from her orbit into the Garbodak ocean, like she did when Hiranyaksha caused her to fall...and Lord Visnu in the form of Lord Varaha, a transcendental boar, rescued her with His tusks from the depths of the ocean and reset her in her orbit. i also heard the term gyroscope to help us to understand the concept of the transcendental use or need of the oil in maintaining the Earths orbit in space.
He also mentioned that cold places will become hot and hot places will become cold.
What the mainstream media currently refers to as global warming for political purposes, and sometimes climate change, is not artificially created by man, but is a natural happening. This is understood logically by the history of what is called ice ages studied at the poles themselves. If the poles are to continue to become hot that means the ice will no longer comes from there, but where in the hot part of the world, ie Equator?, are large openings which may in due course, emit ice to cool that reigon? It appears this change is not to be feared but is part of maintainance of the Earth by Sri Krishna.
