anyone seen/got this map of arctic regions?

I just received my copy of "The Arctic Voyages of Martin Frobisher" by
Robert McGhee, published by the University of Washington Press.
(Hardcover) and available through amazon.com

There is a truly amazing map on page 174 (in colour) titled:
Map of the Arctic regions, published in 1606 by he Flemish cartographer
Gerhard Mercator, incorporating Frobisher's discoveries. (Royal Ontario
Museum).

I cannot find that map anywhere on the net amongst the thousands of great
antique maps posted around the place.

Has anyone on this list seen the map? Any comments? It is pretty
amazing to say the least. If noone can turn up a URL with it on, I will
scan it in and pass it around. Anyone in Ontario might want to go their
museum and check it out.

While I have some attention, has anyone out there read "The Franklin
Conspiracy" by Jeffrey Blair Latta? If you are a dedicated
hole-at-the-pole researcher you MUST read it. (available from University
of Toronto Press, or amazon.com)

Duncan,

You can check out these links:

Pretty sure this is the 1606 map at this link:

I'm not sure this is the 1606 map. First link is the description
and the second link is the enlarged version of the map.

This is supposed to be a 1609 version of the map:

Here is a 1595 version of the map:

This site has a description of the 1606 map. Scroll down to the
name Mercator, and read the fifth one.

Cuzco, Duncan-

What strikes me about this map is the ring of mountains that it
runs around the lip of the opening. That is what Peary and Mac
Millan reported from Point Colgate and above- a whole mountain
ridge, circling 120* around, from their point of view. There could have been more that they didn't see.

People- Are they bombing cavern worlds again? Check out the last line-

" When and if the United States does go to war, military sources say the
United States is preparing a monster new weapon to be used during the first
nights.

It's called MOAB, short for "massive ordnance air burst" bomb. It is a
modern, bigger version of the 15,000-pound "Daisy Cutter" used in Vietnam,
the Persian Gulf War and Afghanistan.

Sources say MOAB ÷ still experimental ÷ is a 21,000-pound bomb that will be
pushed out the back of a C-130 transport and guided by satellite. Because it
is not dropped by parachute, as was the old Daisy Cutter, the aircraft can
let it go from far higher altitudes, making it safer for U.S. pilots.

The MOAB's massive explosive punch, sources say, is similar to a small
nuclear weapon.

It is intended to obliterate a command center hidden in tunnels and bunkers
or a concentration of Iraqi tanks. "

Popup Ads Via MS Messenger Service

Internet users can receive spam (or ANY message) in the form of a
Windows pop-up on Windows XP/2000/NT machines. This Windows pop-up is
made possible by a service called Windows Messenger (not to be confused
with MSN Messenger), which is installed by default on XP/2000/NT
machines. While this service does not allow remote access to information
on an individual's computer, it can provide a conduit for unsolicited
messages or advertising (or LIES). An individual can identify a message
as being sent through Windows Messenger by examining the title bar of
the window as shown in the following example:
