[allplanets-hollow] The Logistical Value of Firearms

Is a "Kodiac," bear just another name for a "Grizzly," bear? I know they are
both very mean.

MM

The only difference is the Kodiac are raised on salmon and are much larger
due to excellent nutrition. Genetically the same old ursa horribilis.

They can put your whole head in their mouth and pop it like a grape.
You aren't worth much after that. Need a head to function.

Mean fails to describe them. It is the literal truth when I say they will
hunt you.
Some folks found out the hard way by trailing a griz. It walked around
behind them.
They will also hide and rush you when close.

Stay out of brush (any dense vegetation)if griz are around.
Women during that time of the month will draw them for miles.
I am VERY opposed to reintroducing them in lower 48. They are killing
machines.

And they have less fear of man, or anything else, than even a
Polar Bear, which can be cautious of humans at times.

A Kodiak/Grizzly has NO fear of human beings. Very dangerous
beast.
