If I remember right, that incident involved flying a number of nukes on a
B-52, when it was supposed to have been carrying dummy warheads. I
understand that all were recovered, with the possible exception of two.
I never heard anything more about it. I think they called it "broken
arrow", or something like that.

Does anyone else remember the 'nuks' that were 'stolen' from a US
base? I remember reading about it and then the Petagon demanded an
inventory check of all Nuc weapons in stock, I also remember that
everyone working that nite on the base have all met questionable
deaths, ie: I think one of two died of motorcycle crashes, one was
suicided and another was run off the road and crashed. Funny how
that happens and now we hear of nuc's going off underground.
