This category is for discussing ancient history and mythology. Specifically, we want to focus on aspects of these which are lesser-known.
We are not very strict about what is considered ancient, since even medieval times may be considered "ancient" in certain contexts. Yet, this is also not the place to discuss modern history. We define modern history as anything past the mid-1800s. Also, this forum is not the place for political debates.
Some examples of topics of interest here may include (but are not limited to):
- Alternative theories about ancient history
- Lesser-known facts and findings of archeology which may affect our understanding of history
- Discussion of prehistory, such as dinosaurs and other ancient creatures.
