"Willard's Water," actually Reich's discovery?

Group,

If you have the patience to read the correspondence and check the links within it you will learn why/how life can exist on other planets when water is there, but he points out that freezing and thawing must take place for this to go further and create the start of life.

Mike

I don't know if you ever saw this "60-Minutes," TV Show on Willard's Water, but I think it is worth watching, it shows how they make it, minus the freezing process, and how it works on humans, plants and animals. Just click on the link below, then the video link for the 14:09 minute segment (no commercials).

Below is the response I got from Dr DeMeo, whom, as you know, is Dr Reich's foremost advocate and supporter. He has a number of links to watch, but there is one specific link he has below that has a segment on the experiments he and other scientists did with the "Bion-Water," that I think you would find interesting.

Dear Mike,

The experiment described in Reich's "Experiment 20",where life-like and plasmatic forms come from boiled fresh earth, which is then filtered and frozen. Upon thawing, the flakesappear, and some do appear alive, able to multiply. Use thatquoted term to search for the exact citations at our on-lineBibliography on Orgonomy:
http://www.orgonelab.org/bibliog.htm

You can see some of these experiments reproduced here at my lab,in the later part of my YouTube video on Reich's Bion-BiogenesisExperiments, here:

But I've never examined or read much on "Willard's Water"to know what the similarities might be.

Kind regards,

James DeMeo

Dr James,
I know you are somebody, not only worth sending thisinformation to, but I know you have the mind to follow up on it, likeI did, to see if it works.....and it does. Let me know if you get thechance.
This came from a book a Wise Greek gave me to read about "Divining."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Experiments of Dr. W. Reich on orgoneenergy:
Dr Reich is a pupil of Prof. Freud, who left Austriaand Germany during the Hitler regime and established, first in Swedenand later in the U.S.A., an 'Institute for Sex-Economy,' and 'OrgoneResearch.' This institute regularly publishes an international journalof which a few interesting articles were compiled in Bibl. No.1463-1472. Reich assumes that besides physical energy the world ispermeated with a non-material 'orgone energy.' the source of sexualenergy of the fundamental phenomena of life. Although we do not agreewith his interpretations, his observations are interesting and areworthy of repetition. Reich discovered that if water is filteredthrough ordinary garden soil and the yellowish fluid is kept inbottles in a frozen state, after thawing dense flakes appear which, ata magnification of 3,000 show pulsating phenomena which he comparedwith living cells. These pulsating bodies were called 'bions.'Freezing of ordinary spring water or distilled water fails to producesuch flakes. Reich found that these 'bion fluids' show fluorescencephenomena. The fluoro-photo value of the fluids were used as indicatorof the 'orgonotic potency' of the fluid. Microscopic examination ofthe flakes showed two basic types:
A.) smooth, plasmatic, but well-defined forms in whichdark granules are dispersed;
B.) heaps of bionous vesicles.
Preparations kept under sterile conditions showed andincrease in flakes after a few days and a much greater increase inflakes after 2-3 weeks. They seem to grow through the addition ofsubstance and increase in number by division.
After evaporation of bion water a yellowish powder ofbrownish crystals remains, called orgontin, which cannot bedissolved in bion water. These crystals show only manifestation ofgrowth, multiplications, etc.
Injection of bion water of high orgonotic potency intointo living organisms, plants and animals, results in vigorousvagotonic reactions which, according to Reich, have a life-prolongingeffect.
It would require too much space to discuss all theother experiments of Reich that indicate the presence of pulsationorgone energy in all matter, both living and non-living. Hisexperiments are extremely interesting, but his interpretations seem tobe definitely incorrect. For example, the experiment with bion water:although we must confess that we have not yet repeated thisexperiment, his observations correspond perfectly to the phenomenonone would expect, i.e., the whole process seems to be due to thedevelopment of fluid organic crystals (see p. 9 and 29), which hecalled bions.
Experiments with pendulums, in order to demonstratethe orgonotic pulsation in the atmosphere (only observable when therelative humidity is less than 70%), are also explainable with theordinary electric phenomena, discussed in chapter I, partIII.
However, the application of solutions of fluid organiccrystals and of specially crystallized drugs in general, might open upa new field of medical research.
The experiments of Reich and others, discussed inchapter III, almost without exception contain an interestingscientific core that should be analyzed by the laboratories ofpsychical physics. It is a sign of narrow-mindedness that theseexperiments are often rejected by scientists because the explanationsounds unscientific and might be completely wrong. It is not theinterpretation which is important, but the facts. Interpretationsgiven even by the most prominent scientists often had to be changedduring the history of mankind, but the facts remain. Most scientistsof the 20th century seem to lack the courage and the romantic feelingto tackle problems at first sight seem incredible and without anypractical prospects. It is the unconventional scientist who enable thework to process more rapidly.
We have reached the end of chapter III and of thispublication on the science of divining phenomena. We have endeavoredto demonstrate that an enormous number of fundamentally unknownphenomena occurs in the living world which should be united into anindependent science, the science of divining phenomena. Thisshould be the sphere of interest of the Laboratories of PsychicalPhysics all over the world. It requires coordinative work ofa great number of scientists who would combine great intelligence witha highly critical mind and an unprejudiced conception. For the firsttime in the history of mankind we would have at our disposal thegigantic strength of science to solve these most fundamentalphilosophical problems of life. Let us prove worthy of the task thatlies ahead."

PS I think Dr Willard got ahold of Reich's researchand put his name on it, what do you think?
