Over the past few years stories and rumors about government underground
tunnels, bases and cities have dominated much of the talk and energy of
those of us seeking the truth about things our government and others seem to
work very hard to keep secret.
Probably Richard Sauder presented the best research into these matters in
his well written book Underground Bases and Tunnels: What is the Government
Trying to Hide? (1993). This book is a must read for anyone interested in
the subject.
However, each time I read something on these underground activities one
question keeps coming to my mind. Why aren't these modern researchers
looking at the connections between today's top-secret goings on and the
tunnels that have existed inside our earth since before written history?
Many of today's reported underground activities seem to be centered around
some of the same areas that ancient excavations are known to be located. For
instance, in and around White Sands New Mexico and the "Four Corners" area
of the country. Before we go too far into this aspect of the mystery we'll
have to study a little of the true history of the Americas.
A Historical Perspective
Containment of the population is the important ingredient in total control.
It is natural for people to migrate to new lands seeking a better life for
their families. Unfortunately, for those who would control us this natural
migration delays the master plan of a One World Order. This is well known by
the elitist and for centuries, through their control of the top echelon in
secret societies, education and religious sects they were able to keep the
true makeup of our earth a secret from the common men and women.
In early times this was accomplished by leading the masses into believing
that the earth was flat. They warned that if anyone tried to leave the known
world they would fall off the edge, or worst yet . meet up with horrible
monsters that would maul them and eat them. Prior to 1492 the secret
societies and financial controllers of the Old World had no trouble hiding
the truth about the true makeup of our planet. Two things changed all that.
The Queen of Spain was greedy. And Christopher Columbus had the gift of gab.
Columbus talked Isabelle into defying the other elitist and financing a trip
to explore the secret lands and return with tons of wealth. With the
so-called "discovery of the New World" the keepers of the secrets had a lot
of problems. One being the civilized people of the Americas knew and
understood about the Inner lands and its inhabitants, our Co-Planetarians.
The cover-up (no pun intended) started right away.
The Book Burners
The first people allowed into the new word were religious teachers. Under
the guise of converting the heathens to Christianity, groups such as the
Jesuits main objective was to destroy any records, books etc. they located.
The excuse was to rid the savages of their superstitions and belief in
"false gods." One of the first big lies in the conspiracy is still believed
by many of us today. We have been taught to believe that the Meso-Americans,
the first Americans, had no books. No written records of they're history and
accomplishments. This is simply not true.
In Ancient America, in Notes of America Archeology (1872) by John H.
Baldwin, A.M., he wrote:
"If a conservative history of the ancient people of Central America and
Mexico were ever written, it has been lost . The ruins show that they had
the art of writing . the inscriptions of Palenque and the characters used in
some of the manuscript books that have been preserved are not the same as
the Mexican Picture Writing . though they had no writing like ours they had
their symbols and characters through which they understood everything; and
they had great books, which were composed with such ingenuity and art that
our characters were really of no assistance to them. Our Priests have seen
these books and I myself have seen them likewise . books such as these .
must have contained important information. The older books belonging to the
age of Copan and Paling went to decay doubtless long previous to this time.
The later books, not otherwise lost, were destroyed by Aztec and Spanish
vandalism."
Mr. Baldwin continues;
" . The Aztec or Mexican sovereign Ytzcoatl destroyed many of the old Toltec
books. His aim was probably to exterminate among the people all memory of
the previous times . We learn from Spanish writers that a still greater
destruction of the old books was effected by the more ignorant and fanatical
of the Spanish priest who were established in the country as missionaries
after the conquest . there is record of a great conflagration, under the
asepses of Bishop Zumarraga, in which a vast collection of these writings
was consumed. As the writing was all of paper (which had long been used in
the country) the burning was easily accomplished . the Franciscan and
Dominican fanatics, whose learning and religion consisted of ignorance and
bigotry, hoped to exterminate among the people all recollection of their
former history, ideas and religious customs."" (Pages 188, 189).
Very few of these books were saved. However I found a passage in The
Civilization of Ancient Mexico (1912) by Lewis Spence to be very thought
provoking to say the least. Mr. Spence reports that in the Vatican there is
a book that was brought from Mexico . "Manuscript No. 3773, is a species of
religious handbook, representing the journey after death through the
underground." (Page 21) Out of all of the books put to torch by the
Christian Priests why was this book about the Ancient American's beliefs
concerning the Inner World brought safely back to the Vatican? Next time you
're in Rome ask the Pope.
But it isn't all gloom and doom. In Mr. Baldwin's already quoted book
Ancient America I found a passage that could be viewed as a ray of hope.
"Humbolt mentions books of hieroglyphic writing found among the Panoes on
the River Ucayali, [in Peru] which were "bundles of their paper resembling
our volumes of the quarto. A Franciscan missionary found an old man sitting
at the foot of a palm-tree and reading one of the books to several young
persons. The Franciscan was told that the writing "contained hidden things
which no stranger ought to know."" (Pages 255, 256)
Hopefully these books were hidden away somewhere. Possibly in an underground
vault? At any rate, while destroying any possible written information that
would help us in our quest for the truth, the keepers-of-the-secrets still
had a big problem. Oral History. We'll return to this thought later on in
this report.
More Historical Dis-Information
Another false piece of "history" being taught in our controlled school
systems today is the is that all of the "wild" Indians of North America, and
if fact the peoples of Mexico, Central and South America, arrived here by
crossing "a land bridge" which connected Asia with Alaska across the Bering
Straight following the last ice age. The theory being that all the people
found in the extended NAFTA area of the globe (as envisioned by our friends
over at the Trilateral Commission) migrated across this land bridge.
As Paul Harvey would say, But now, for the rest of the story.
A couple of interesting statements found in the already quoted 1912
scholastic work The Civilization of Ancient Mexico by Lewis Spence;
"The area covered by the ancient Nahuan or Mexican race, both in its
fluctuant and settled conditions, extended in its utmost limits from British
Columbia in the North to Costa Rica in the south." (Page 2).
"But the most important aboriginal population of Mexico was that of the
Otomi, who still occupy the plateau of the Guanajuato and Queretaro, and
who, after the advent of the Naphua races, probably peopled the entire
Mexican plateau. Their language is of the type known as "incorporative" that
is, one word embraces several, and appears to have some affinity to the
Athapascan Dialect of British North America" (Page 4)
So far so good. These statements seem to support a migration of the ancient
people of Mexico from the north. . Until you read this curious statement
further into his report.
"The Totonacs and Chontals were in all likelihood allied to tribes dwelling
to the south-east of the Yucatan peninsula who spoke a similar language, and
their migration to the lands they occupied was possible effected from South
to North by way of the Mexican Gulf." (Page 4)
As Vincent H. Gaddis wrote in his book Native American Myths & Mysteries
revised (1991);
"Migration by the Bering Sea Strait (or land bridge during glaciation
periods when sea levels were lower) has been a theoretical scared cow to
many anthropologists, but it does not explain the origin of all native
people in America . As for the Bering Straits migrants eventually reaching
the far destination of Tierra del Fuego, what has their incentive? There was
no population pressure. About the time Columbus arrived on the scene, it is
estimated there were 15 million people living in the Americas, with about
one million or less in what is now the United States and Southern Canada.
During the last glaciation there was an ice-free area just of the east of
the Rocky Mountains and other areas to the south. At worst, ice age man
would have had to go no further than modern Mexico.
"Nevertheless, the oldest and most advanced civilizations were in South
America. [In fact the further south you go the more elaborate the ruins of
these ancient people. DGC.] A vast antiquity here is evident in the ruins
under lave flows and at Lake Titicaca. Here the mysteries of countless ages
await the study of skilled minds, and Latin American scientists who have led
in the research are appalled at their own ignorance. And the trail of the
totems is northward." (Page 7)
Is it possible that some people migrated from the South to the North? John
Baldwin in Ancient America explored just such an unorthodox view.
Mr. Baldwin wrote;
"One of the most learned writers on American antiquities, a Frenchman,
speaking of discoveries in Peru, exclaims, "America is to be again
discovered! We must remove the veil in which Spanish politics has sought to
bury its ancient civilization." (Page 13)
"Remains of ancient civilizations, differing to some extent in degrees and
character, are found in three great sections of the America continent; the
west side of South America, between Chili and the first or second degree of
latitude; Central America and Mexico; and the valleys of the Mississippi and
the Ohio. These regions have all been explored to some extent . not
completely, but sufficiently to show the significance and importance if
their archaeological remains, most of which were already mysterious
antiquities when the continent was discovered by Columbus." (Page 14)
Mr. Baldwin tells us;
"An Ancient and unknown people left remains of settled life, and of a
certain degree of civilization, in the valleys of the Mississippi and its
tributaries. We have no authentic name for them either as a nation or as a
race; therefore they are know as "Mound Builders," this name having been
suggested by an important class of their works." (Page 17)
America's Ancient People
According to research by Robert Silverburg as reported by him in his 1978
book on the subject, The Mound Builders, there were tens of thousands of
different sized mounds across the eastern half of North America, and "each
[new American] townsite had its mounds, and generally each town had its
antiquarian who studied them before they were swept away by progress." (Page
24).
Baldwin's description of the ancient mounds comes from first hand knowledge.
Many were still prevalent around the North American countryside in 1872 when
he published his unprecedented historical research book, Ancient America;
"Prominent among the remains by which we know that such people once
inhabited that region are artificial mounds constructed with intelligence
and great labor. Most of them are usually square or rectangular, but some
times hexagonal or octagonal, and the higher mounds appear to have been
constructed with winding staircases on the outside leading to their summits"
(Page 10)
Baldwin concludes;
"I find it most reasonable to believe that the mounds found in this part of
the continent were used precisely as similar structures were used in Mexico
and Central America. The lower mounds, or most of them, must have been
constructed as foundations of the more important edifices of the
mound-building people. Many of the great buildings erected on such pyramidal
foundations, at Palengue, Uxmal and elsewhere in the region, have not
disappeared, because they were built of hewn stone laid in mortar. For
reasons not difficult to understand, the mound builders, beginning their
works on the lower Mississippi constructing such edifices of wood or some
other perishable material; therefore no trace of them remains. The higher
mounds with broad, flat summits, reached by flights of stairs on the
outside, are like the Mexican teocallis, or temples. In Mexico and Central
America these structures were very numerous. They are described as solid
pyramidal masses of earth, cased with brick and stone, level at the top, and
furnished with ascending ranges of steps on the outside. The resemblance is
striking, and the most reasonable explanation seems to be that in both
regions mounds of this class were intended for the same used." (Page 18-19)
Mr. Baldwin continues to provide convincing evidence that the ancient people
in North America had common ties with their brothers in the south. One of
the most convincing connections is in the design in Adams County Ohio known
as The Great Serpent Mound. Mr. Baldwin explains:
"No symbolic device is more common among the antiquities of Mexico and
Central America than is more common among the antiquities of Mexico and
Central America than the form of the serpent, and it was sometimes
reproduced in part in architectural constructions. One of the old books
giving account of a temple dedicated to Quetzalcohuatl says, "It was
circular in form, and the entrance represented the mouth of a serpent,
opening in a frightful manner, and extremely terrifying to those who
approached it for the first time." (Page 28)
I could not have described the Great Serpent Mound of Adams County Ohio any
better. What do you think?
Baldwin's 300-page book presents good hard evidence that not only was there
a migration from the north, but that an entirely different group of people
came from the south. And he isn't the only authority that felt that way in
the days before the controllers took control over what was to be accepted
history and science. Robert Silverburg tells us of another respected
researcher of the time.
[A] "Brilliant analysis of the mounds was produced . by Albert Gallatin
(1761-1849), the Swiss-born economist who was Thomas Jefferson's Secretary
of the Treasury. After a long career in public office, Gallatin had become a
banker in 1827 and in his later years concerned himself largely with the
study of American Indians. In 1836 he published an important work on the
Indians, and six years later he founded and became the first president of
the American Ethnological Society. His final contribution to his chosen
science was a pioneering essay on American languages, published in 1848,
when he was 87 years old.
"The large flat-topped mounds of which the Cahokia Mound near East St.
Louis, Illinois was then the best known example." struck Gallatin as having
"a strong family likeness to the Mexican pyramids." The earthen ramparts and
embankments of Ohio puzzled him though, for they were unlike any
fortifications constructed by existing Indian tribes. This led him to
suggest that they were the work of a race different from contemporary
Indians, perhaps Influenced by the great civilizations of Mexico.
" . Gallatin did not think that the mound builders had migrated south to
Mexico to create those great civilizations. Instead, he felt that Mexican
ideas must have drifted northward and been adopted by the people of the
Mississippi valley." (Pages 40-41).
As Baldwin tells us in our major reference book for this portion of our
research:
"It has sometimes been assumed that the Aztecs came to Mexico from the
north, but there is nothing to warrant this assumption, nothing to make it
probable, nothing even to explain the fact that some persons have
entertained it. People of the ancient Mexico and Central American races are
not found further north than New Mexico and Arizona, where they are known as
Pueblos or Village Indians. In the old days there was a frontier region, and
the Pueblos seem to represent ancient settlers who went there from the
south. In fact, no people really like our wild Indians of North America have
ever been found in Mexico, Central America, or South America. (Pages
217-218).
The findings of these well respected researchers seems to strongly indicate
that, as I seem to find time after time in my own research, that we're not
being made privy to the full truth. So far in this research report I've
presented a magnitude of evidence supporting a migration of some of Americas
ancient people from south to north. If this is so, the next obvious question
is: "From where in the south did these people originate?"
The Native American and His-Story
The undisputed truth of history is that in the far southern areas of the
Americas, not only were the books destroyed, but also the people were
massacred. But the controllers still had a problem. A big problem. The ruins
were too massive to destroy. They stand today as a silent monument to hidden
truths. In the north they had no such problem, most of the easily destroyed
mounds were plowed under or concreted over. However, as hard as they tried
they were not able to wipe out the "savages" and the secrets they knew. This
brings us back to the oral history of these true Americans.
The controllers, after failing in the genocide of the red man, next tried to
destroy their tight family ties. First by removing them from their
traditional lands and placing them on the worst land in the country, then by
flooding the reservations with booze. And finally by enticing the young to
become part of the "white mans' system. This was all done to try and remove
the ancient oral knowledge from being passed on from old to young as it had
since time began for these people. In far too many cases it's worked. But
thanks to a few brave historians, much of the tribal knowledge has been
preserved. Of course the "establishment" would have us believe that this
oral history is nothing more than myths and fables. But one thing doesn't
wash. I personally find it hard to believe that generations of people worked
so hard to preserve fiction . especially people, who historically have
proven that they hold such a high regard for the truth.
***Descendents of Subterranean Dwellers? ***
In legends & Lore of the American Indians (1993) edited by Terri Harden we
find;
" . Several tribes claim to have emerged from the interior of the earth. The
Oneidas point to a hill near the falls of Oswego River, N.Y. as their
birthplace; the Witchitas rose from the rocks around Red River; the Creeks
from a knoll in the valley of Big Black River in the Natchez area, where
dwelt the Master of Breath; the Aztecs were one of seven tribes that came
out from the seven caverns of Aztlan . and the Navajos believe that they
emerged at a place known to them in the Navajo Mountains." (Page 299)
On page 152 we find that "the Mandan tribes of the Sioux suppose that their
nation lived in a subterranean village near a vast lake." The Zuni believe
that, "in the old days all men lived in caves in the center of the earth.
There were four caves, one over the other. Men first lived in the lowest
cave. It was dark. There was no light, and the cave was crowded. All men
were full of sorrow." (Page 268). Through several misadventures they finally
reached the exterior of the earth.
According to the Pawnee story of creation,
"All living things were under the ground in confusion and asked one another
what each was; but one day as the mole was digging around, he broke a hole
through, so that the light steamed in, and he drew back frightened. He has
never had any eyes since; the light put them out. The mole did not want to
come out, but all the others came out on to the earth through the hole the
mole had made." (Page 123).
Another good source of this ancient knowledge is Native American Legends
(1987) compiled and edited by George E. Lankford. On page 113 he tells us;
"What Chekilli, the head chief of the lower and upper Creeks [Indian tribes]
said in a talk held in Savannah [Georgia] in 1735, and which was handed over
by the interpreter . word for word, as follows: "At a certain time the earth
opened in the west, where it's mouth is. The earth opened and the Kasihtas
[Creeks] came out .""
And on and on, tribe after tribe. Stories of their ancient ancestors
emerging from subterranean lands in one way or the other seems to be a
common one. Could these separate histories, which all jell into the same
fact, be true?
Could some of the ancient Americans actually have come from under the ground
we walk on? We'll pursue this further in my next report.

Something is definitely going on down there, and it may not be a

That North Pole Floor pic is from the home page of Steadman's site:
The top of the page has an article on the earthquake in Seattle ( for you,
Leslee ) and when you scroll down one page you see the North Pole pic.
About that North Pole picture- that is only the way it is depicted, of
course. Gerry mentioned to us a while ago that the floor of the Arctic basin
supposedly has so much organic matter accumulated in it that the sonar
soundings don't give perfect resonances, such that they don't really know
how deep it is. In truth, this could indicate a variety of things, such as
the polar opening to the hollow cavity.
Dr. Fridtjof Nansen, on his trip to the Arctic from 1893 - 1896, hit the rim
of that supposedly deep area from the Siberian side above the New Siberian
Islands and drifted along the side and ONLY THEN drifted up towards the
Pole. He was stuch on the ice and couldn't penetrate due to the ice coming
out of the opening. I think that Jens Jansen must have hit the opening from
a much higher point, coming straight across the Arctic from Spitzenburg and
Franz Josef Land. Nansen went at it from way underneath.

I was just posting to Ralph abut synchronicity, and how we seem to be on the same page at the same time. I noticed it again when I headed for the site above. The first paragraph was on the Vatican, which I am just finishing up a report on.
The photo's on the anomaly in the Seattle sky was just that, I also saw it that day, and some since. We have also had a tornado or two? Weird funnel clouds, and the earth seems to be constantly shifting--I don't know why I stay.
I enjoyed the site, lots of pictures and articles. I, of course, clicked on your link to your Antarctic page, very professional Dean, wonderful job.
So much to read and look at, there is just not enough time in the day.

You were talking to Leslee a while ago about internal causes for geo
processes such as earthquakes and volcanoes.
You were saying how Mr. Churchward largely attributes these to
horizontal movement of overcompressed gasses in subterranean gas-belt
tunnels, powered by centrifugal force.
I really don´t see how centrifugal for would compress the gas- maybe
get it to that point, but compress it? And then compress the gases to
the point that they cause seismic jolts and earthquakes. i.e., lift
strata?
And what would be the source of heating for the gases such that they
can, in turn, heat the rock and melt it into magma? I mean to say,
what would be the source in a Hollow earth Scheme.
I agree about the movement of superheated gases along extended,
horizontal tunnels, though. Both Etidorhpa and Cater support this
description. Here is the Etidorhpa description, it isn´t long. A
mechanism for the heating of the gases is given involving the
interaction of sodium with water:
" Know then, that the theories of man concerning volcanic eruptions,
in
connection with a molten interior of the Earth, are such as are
evolved in
ignorance of even the subsurface of the globe. The earth's interior
is to
mankind a sealed chamber, and the wise men who elucidate the curious
theories concerning natural phenomena occurring therein are forced to
draw
entirely upon their imagination. Few persons realize the paucity of
data at
the command of workers in science. Theories concerning the earth are
formulated from so little real knowledge of that body, that our
science may
be said to be all theory, with scarcely a trace of actual evidence to
support it. If a globe ten inches in diameter be covered with a sheet
of
paper, such as I hold in my hand, the thickness of that sheet will be
greater in proportion to that of such a globe than the depth men have
explored within the earth is compared with the thickness of the crust
of the
earth. The outer surface of a pencil line represents the surface of
the
earth; the inner surface of the line represents the depth of man's
explorations; the highest mountain would be represented by a comma
resting
on the line. The geologist studies the substances that are thrust
from the
crater of an active volcano, and from this makes conjectures
regarding the
strata beneath, and the force that casts the excretions out. The
results
must with men, therefore, furnish evidence from which to explain the
cause.
It is as though an anatomist would form his idea of the anatomy of
the liver
by the secretion thrown out of that organ, or of the lung texture by
the
breath and sputum. In fact, volcanoes are of several descriptions,
arid
usually are extremely- superficial. This lake, the surface of which
is but
one hundred and fifty miles underground, is the mother of an
exceptionally
deep one. When the water pours over this ledge it strikes alt element
below
us, the metallic base of salt, which lies in great masses in some
portions
of the earth's crust. Then an immediate chemical reaction ensues, the
water is dissociated, intense heat results, part of the water
combines with
the metal, part is vaporized as steam, while part escapes as an
inflammable
gas. The sudden liberation of these gases causes an irregular
pressure of
vapor on the surface of the lake, the result being a throbbing and
rebounding of the attenuated atmosphere above, which, in gigantic
waves,
like swelling tides, dashes great volumes of water over the ledge
beside us,
and into the depth below. This water in turn reacts on fresh portions
of the
metallic base, and the reflex action increases the vapor discharges,
and as
a consequence the chamber we are in becomes a gasholder, containing
vapors
of unequal gas pressures, and the resultant agitation of the lake
from the
turmoil continues, and the pulsations are repeated until the surface
of the
lake is lowered to such a degree as at last to prevent the water from
overflowing the barrier. Finally the lake quiets itself, the gases
slowly
disappear by earth absorption, and by escape from the volcanic exit,
and for
an unrecorded period of time thereafter the surface of the lake
continues to
rise slowly as it is doing now."
" But what has this phenomenon to do with the volcano?"
" It produces the eruption; the water that rushes down into the
chasm,
partly as steam, partly as gas, is forced onward and upward through a
crevice that leads to the old crater of the presumed extinct but
periodically active Mount Epomeo. These gases are intensely heated,
and they
move with fearful velocity. They tear off great masses of stone,
which the
resultant energy disturbances, pressure, gas, and friction, redden
with
heat. The mixture of gases from the decomposed water is in large
amount, is
burning and exploding, and in this fiery furnace amid such
convulsions as
have been described, the adjacent earth substance is fused, and even
clay is
melted, and carried on with the fiery blast. Finally the current
reaches the
earth's surface through the funnel passage, the apex of which is a
volcano-the blast described a volcanic eruption."
Mr. Cater also presents a different cause. The volcanic eruption
described by Etidorhpa seems to be the cause of abupt eruptions which
come without much notice. Mr. Cater´s second explanation gives the
cause for volcanic eruptions which " simmer " first and heat the
ground such that steam comes out. Since modern geologists know
nothing of soft particle penetration which can concentrate charge and
provide a source of heat, they are hardly convesant with the cause of
volcanic activity.
Mr. Cater´s comments-
" Mr. Cater attributes the heat which accounts for volcanic activity
to the soft particles which penetrate the Earth much easier than
regular photons. He tells us:
This process [ redistribution/penetration of low frequency
particles ] continues as the radiation from the Sun penetrates the
Earth's crust. The lower frequencies are readily transformed into
infrared radiations which produce increases in temperature. ... Most
of the soft particles that disintegrate during this interval are
comprised of photons below the visible range of the electromagnetic
spectrum. As we have just mentioned in relation to earthquakes, it is
the soft particles concentrated along plates and fault lines which
act as condensers, i.e., build up and store electricity/heat. This
then, is one mechanism which contributes to the heating of rock and
the production of lava. Also, the book Etidorhpa explains that large
deposits of sodium, which interact with water which overflows from
underground lakes, are a major cause of volcanic activity."

I really don´t see how centrifugal for would compress the gas- maybe
get it to that point, but compress it? And then compress the gases to
the point that they cause seismic jolts and earthquakes. i.e., lift
strata?
And what would be the source of heating for the gases such that they
can, in turn, heat the rock and melt it into magma? I mean to say,
what would be the source in a Hollow earth Scheme.
I agree about the movement of superheated gases along extended,
horizontal tunnels, though. Both Etidorhpa and Cater support this
description. Here is the Etidorhpa description, it isn't long. A
mechanism for the heating of the gases is given involving the
interaction of sodium with water:

Dick to Dean. Before directly answering the above... recall I wrote several times earlier, that I am persuaded Churchward alone has logically explained HOW a great hollow GEOLOGICALLY came to exist in the middle of our Earth (and if he was right, also inside every other celestial planet and Star, that rotates on an axis).
Dean, you remarked earlier that Cater was not concerned with geology (concentrating on soft particle physics) and apparently has not speculated about HOW the hollow came to be formed, just that it now exists. Most other HE people likewise seem similarly unconcerned. I can't accept such a non-explanation. I think curious new people will ask HOW the hollow SCIENTIFICALLY came to be. In my opinion, If we cannot answer them logically with a reasonable explanation, they'll be justified to reject anything further we may propose.
Even though Churchward apparently did not entertain the possible existence of a populated HE with a similar earthly surface and atmosphere, he alone explained how the hollow may have originally come to exist. A great hollow enclosed by the molten crust, at first FILLED with gases during earth's birth from a nebula of elementary gases.
To satisfy your specific queries above about CENTRIFUGAL FORCE and COMPRESSION of gases, I must refer back to Churchward "basics" and his (speculative) explanation of earth's beginning.
Before there was a centrifugal force, there was a CENTRIPETAL force that first gathered together hot gases in space into a nebula, then molded the nebula into a spherical form. When I picture the CENTRIPETAL force he described, I think of it as the "finger of God," rotationally "stirring" gases in space, working them to a center to begin the birth of the Earth. (Or think of it as the "planetary Logos" spinning the planet into being.) The nebula of collected gases contained ALL the atomic elements needed to construct our earth, its waters and atmosphere.
In brief, the CENTRIPETAL force, stirring the heavier gases inward formed a vortex. Reaching the "center" the gases rebounded to meet incoming gases around the MIDDLE of the nebula. At that point of "impact" some of the heavier rock-forming, "solidifying" gases, went into chemical and mechanical combinations and cooled to form the FIRST LINE OF CRYSTALS. The heavy rock forming gases "trapped" inside the initial crust began to fuse and join the first line of crystals, thickening and forming earth's initial unstratified primary granite rock, from inside. Incredibly, earth's primary granite was composed of Six elements ONLY, namely, Oxygen, Aluminum, Silicon, Magnesium, Calcium, and Potasslum.
Note that the elements from which explosives are formed are not included, such as Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Sulphur, Carbon, etc. At the beginning they remained in gaseous form.
Soon, on the outside, remaining heavy, rock-forming gases began to similarly combine, fuse and cool against the OUTSIDE of the original line of crystals. These were the GNEISS secondary rock layers called "stratified" rocks because they were laid down in layers on an already existing molten surface that was rolling. Earth's crust built up from both outside and inside simultaneously.
Even while the primary granite and secondary Gneiss rocks forming the crust were still molten, surface eruptions from explosive volcanic gases moving upward in the crust had commenced. This was BEFORE the waters and atmosphere formed. When the elements forming water and the atmosphere cooled to form a canopy of steam around earth, the outside centripetal force ceased. Then the Sun's great magnetic rays and forces took charge and meshed with earth's forces to regulate earth's orbit and rotation on an axis. When the atmosphere eventually formed, vast amounts of the HEAT force were drawn out of the crust into the atmosphere, equalizing temperatures in the atmosphere and the crust. It was then that the cooling of the crust accelerated.
With the cessation of the outside centripetal force, Earth's outside CENTRIFUGAL FORCE developed from rotation. From earth's surface to the outside edge of the atmosphere (including the elemental particles of earth's "essence" or ether) the outside centrifugal force attempted to throw everything outward into outer space. This it could not do because Earth's new "central" magnet deep in the crust was more powerful. Earth's central magnet attempted to pull everything above toward itself, until prevented by intervening density. If not countered by the outside centrifugal force, earth's magnet would plaster every element including those composing the atmosphere, flat against the surface, making any life on earth impossible. But Earth's outside centrifugal force and magnet (force of gravity) have formed NEUTRAL ZONES, cancelling each other out and forming the delicate balance that exists today.
Also, according to Churchward, just after Earth's atmosphere and waters completely formed, a vast ocean of water covered the entire earth. Not one piece of rock extended above water level. If not for the explosive volcanic gases (see below) that the Creator had intentionally placed within the submerged, hardening rocky crust, not one inch of land could have ever have been pushed up above water level. (Read more about this further down)
GIANT GAS BUBBLES WERE FORMED IN THE CRUST.
Great volumes of lighter gases including Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Sulphur, Carbon, etc., had been carried inside along with the heavier rock forming gases by the centripetal force and INTENTIONALLY "trapped" inside the solidifying outside crust. They remained hot, non-solidifying "free" gases within both earth's original huge hollow and within the molten matter. Miles deep of the upper levels of the molten matter crust gradually cooled to a soft solid AROUND the non-solidifying gases, encasing them as giant bubbles of every conceivable size. For good reasons Churchward estimated that fully HALF of earth's original cooling, molten crust was honeycombed with these bubbles of explosive volcanic gases.
Dean, to hold a bubble shape deep down within the solidifying granite rock it seems self evident that the gases within each bubble were COMPRESSED to the minimum space possible. Collecting Heat forces as well.
Later, because Earth's rock's were still soft or pliable, earth's rotation plus centrifugal pressure from below, caused the bubbles to flatten. Churchward thought most of these flattened gas filled "chambers" were less than 400 feet from roof to floor and many could be measured with a foot rule. But some had evidently been thousands of miles in extent and some miles in height. This may account for some ocean depths. Atlantis, MU and other land areas may have been on the tops of long "isolated" chambers that volcanically emptied, plunging their surface "roofs" to the chamber floors. You see, Dean, you don't need imagined "tectonic plates" slipping and sliding on geology's "Vaseline," to explain the submersions (and emersions) of land areas.
THE INSIDE CENTRIFUGAL FORCE IS CREATED.
From the time the outer crust formed, the centripetal force INSIDE ceased and was replaced by an inside CENTRIFUGAL force because of Earth's rotation. The new centrifugal force pressed up inside against the molten matter, forcing gases from the hollow into the molten matter and from the molten matter into the forming granite higher up.
(Dean, I'm presuming this initially was how any volumes of explosive free gases in the hollow were gradually removed. Before your Vedic friends took residence! But how a surface-like oxygen rich atmosphere, plus a rock and soil surface developed in the hollow, is another matter. But I can conceive of molten matter cooling on the inside surface of the molten layer, at the same time it was cooling into granite on the outside of the molten layer. Just speculating.)
One of the assigned tasks of the centrifugal force INSIDE the crust is to form a GYROSCOPICAL force to keep the earth in an upright or mean position, and to keep the Sun from tipping the super-magnetized polar area over in line with the Sun. The second great task was to drive the volcanic gases out of the crust. This it could not do until the upper levels of the soft granite cooled further. When they did, cooling contractions opened long vertical cracks and fissures between weak planes of crystals.These vertical fissures became passageways connecting most of the bubbles throughout the depth of the forming granite.
Through these vertical fissures (opened EVERYWHERE in the granite crust) earth's increasingly powerful centrifugal force, applying immense pressure, drove the gases in the still molten areas and inside the lower bubbles, upward toward the surface.
That's more COMPRESSION Dean. Imagine the accompanying friction collecting additional heat.
From the beginning, the gases were unceasingly driven upward, under great pressure, into already filled chambers near earth's surface. The added gases OVERcompressed the chambers. For millions of years, the rocks above were still pliable and the OVERcompression could raise the pliable chamber roof above water level where oxidations could begin the development of soil for future life.
But over-compression after over-compression eventually thinned each chamber roof, rupturing the roof and the gases escaped, combining with oxygen, flaming and exploding out into the atmosphere. The soft chamber roof would collapse to the chamber floor. Water would rush in and the WEIGHT of the water above would in time produce a new SEDIMENTARY layer of rock. And that Dean, is how Churchward claims almost all of earth's sedimentary rocks came to be. Over millions of years, the continuous blowouts of upper chambers with thickening rock layers above them that were temporarily uplifted above water, then blown out, with the roofs then falling and being submerged, and the weight of water above compressed them into sedimentary rocks. It was the earth's great centrifugal force that drove the gases upward. Orthodox geology has no similar expansive explanation to match Chuchward's about the development of earth's sedimentary rocks.
CENTRIFUGAL FORCE CREATED GAS BELT TUNNELS.
Churchward contended that the continuing blowouts of upper crust chambers eventually COMPACTED and thickened the upper rocks to many miles in depth, free of pockets. But the centrifugal force continued its work emptying the volcanic gases from deep in the crust. Beginning only about 20,000 years past, the crust above had became too compacted, too resistant to easily rupture vertically as in the past. The gases been confined.
Earth's centrifugal force was then "forced" to drive any new volumes of hot gases being worked up from below, LATERALLY through connected pockets, chambers and fissures forming giant GAS BELT TUNNELS some located 10 to 15 miles deep, ever searching for a weak spot in the rocks above to crack through and form a volcano outlet.
The great heat in the gases already resided in the rising gases themselves and the added heat originating in earth's molten layer rising in the fissures along with the driven gases, undoubtedly made them super hot. Super hot volcanic gases.
(But for all I know, Dean, possibly Cater's soft particles, reaching below 50 miles from the surface, were breaking down, releasing additional heat that entered and added to the heat force already in the gases!) FRICTION between the fissure rocks and the gases must also have collected additional heat. Churchward claimed heat forces saturate the entire crust, but in an inactive state. In storage. Friction and disintegrating soft particles may have brought earth's inactive stored heat forces to life and added heat to the rising gases at great depths.
The OVERcompression of great volumes of gases being driven under pressure through the lateral tunnels, raised the roofs of the tunnels, and with them miles thick of rocks above. The rocks uplifted above are our MOUNTAIN RANGES. Churchward asserted most of this mountain uplifting took place between only 15,000 and 12,000 years past. Before that time there were no mountains or mountain ranges anywhere on earth. He gives several proofs in support and also points to the fact that before 20,000 years ago, there is NO geological evidence of MOUNTAIN ANIMAL LIFE and MOUNTAIN VEGETATION. The geological record from just after Cambrian times and forward, shows earth with only SWAMP GROWTH and SWAMP ANIMAL LIFE.
(Dean, just imagine how much OVERcompression - and Heat - was needed to accomplish that feat of lifting rocks into mountain ranges.)
If pushed up but not punctured, the uplifted rock slabs fell together to form supporting triangles to stay in fixed upraised positions, not falling inward as had happened for millions of years earlier when the rocks were still soft and pliable. But once a weak spot in the surface above was detected and penetrated, a volcanic cone projected, opened, and all gases emptying, further mountain raising above that belt ceased. The volcano (unless later blocked) became the volcanic escape valve for that particular subterranean gas belt tunnel. Churchward methodically traced and mapped the world's probable gas belts and their volcano outlets for 50 years of his life.
EARTHQUAKES, EXPLAINED SIMPLY..
It was also Churchward's contention that EARTHQUAKES come about after a formerly active gas belt tunnel has been emptied of gases.The pressure of the gases gone, sometimes the ceiling and sides of the tunnel will collapse, blocking future movements of gases, especially in narrow connecting fissures. When this happens, earth's relentless centrifugal force, driving the hot gases along under great pressure and finding the tunnel blocked, will either FORCE THROUGH the block, MELT through it or FORGE a new path around it through nearby chambers.
BELT BLOCKS, THE CAUSE OF EARTHQUAKES.
If the violence and force needed to clear the belt block is great, the vibration and shaking of the surrounding rocks in all directions (and for great distances if the surrounding rock is virgin) and especially right above, can give us a great EARTHQUAKE on the surface! The belt block is being cleared! Should remaining smaller blocks be met with, we may experience AFTERSHOCKS on the surface. Most earthquakes may be as simple as that. El Popo is one of the escape valves for gases traveling south through ONE of the several major gas belts under California. Mexicans get California's gas from deep down! Should a serious belt block occur short of El Popo, look for earthquakes anywhere above the belt.
So you see, Dean, you don't need subterranean "sodium" deposits (artfully imagined by Etidorhpa's CHEMISTRY oriented author) to account for earthquakes, volcanos and similar phenomena. Churchward's story is logically consistent, step by step, from the speculative time of earth's birth, and explaining most of the catastrophic phenomena experienced over the millions and billions of years leading up to the present. Before concluding... Dean, with Churchward, always remember when he wrote about the Cosmic "Forces" that control and sustain all movements in the universe, as well as all movements within atoms or particles smaller than atoms, he clearly conceived them to be the intelligent "agents" of the Creator. The Creator is the ONE INFINITE PRIMARY "FORCE" who sends forth His SECONDARY FORCES to carry out assigned duties in this physical universe creation. His Secondary Forces are not operating "mechanistically." The Great Secondary Forces and the uncountable hundreds, thousands (or millions?) of lesser Secondary Forces, are each MOTIVATED to intelligently carry out specific and specialized activities in nature within this physical universe.
We can all easily recognize great centrifugal, repellant and magnetic attracting Forces in space controlling the movements of giant elemental celestial bodies and entire galaxies. Not as apparent to our awareness are "lesser" secondary Forces within what Churchward called earth's Compound "Life" Force, such as those Forces motivated to "combine" elements and other Forces within the foods we eat, and through our blood streams distribute the carefully chemically balanced parts and amounts needed throughout our bodies. (If you prefer, refer to the Life Force as "Prana," "Orgonne" or even "soft particles." Labels are really inadequate to describe ALL the Forces that must emanate from the One Infinite Force. Labels are useful only as general terms to help us comprehend to some degree.)
Also, "Forces" are not "elements," but apparently each "needs" the other to produce movement and action in the visible universe. Elements are "activated" by unseen but motivated Forces. The action of Forces is vibrational, wrote Churchward. Only the Creator's special creation, Man's Spirit, is superior, and capable of "raising" his or her "inner" vibrations "above" the normal effects of the Creator's Secondary Forces. Examples of that are known to you all. That established, let's continue with a quote from Churchward to better understand the interplay of the Sun's magnetic forces with Earth's forces and how that affects the VELOCITY of earth's axial revolution....

1. At Dawn, the Sun's ELECTROmagnetic forces begin to attract or "pull" Earth's ELECTROmagnetic forces OUT of their Dawn quarter crustal "storage-house." Out into the atmosphere. Earth's weaker "central" magnet within its crust, at first RESISTS, unsuccessfully attempting to HOLD ON to its forces in the Dawn quarter. Once the forces are pulled free, Earth's magnet gives up the battle... only to begin it anew with the NEXT Dawn quarter that has now rotated into direct view - and influence - of the Sun's pulling forces. This continuous regular interplay between Earth's resisting magnet and the Sun's pull rotates our planet on its axis. It is a precisely regular rotation that will continue to the end of time or as long as the Sun exists, Churchward believed.
While stored in Earth's dense crustal battery, earth's "COLD" storage-house, most of Earth's great volumes of generated and accumulated electromagnetic forces of all kinds, remain DORMANT, in an inactive state. (At least for the first 50 miles down from the surface!)
But once drawn out into the atmosphere, for example with two forces only, similar AFFINITIVE Heat and Light forces from the Sun stimulate Earth's Light and Heat Forces into life and action IN Earth's atmosphere, producing the phenomena of Heat and Sunlight. Without the interaction of the Sun's forces, earth forces would be largely inactive.
- Remember, Churchward claimed Earth's material elements and its crustal surface are NEUTRAL to the Sun's magnetic pull. Therefore, when the pulled out Dawn quarter forces have SATURATED the atmospheric elemental particles to their full "holding capacity" for electromagnetic forces, around noon, the Sun can pull forth no additional forces from the crust. There is nowhere to "put" additional forces. From that point on the Sun's magnetic pulling rays, while still reaching Earth's surface, are magnetically INEFFECTIVE as "pulling" forces, as the Dawn quarter rotates Eastward, becoming the AFTERNOON quarter.
- When the new AFTERNOON quarter rotates further East and becomes the EVENING quarter, it is out of "sight" and no longer directly influenced by the Sun's rays. The majority of Earth's forces saturating the atmosphere (including those Light and Heat forces), then begin to be drawn back to their crustal storehouse by Earth's central magnet. Before Dawn, the NIGHT quarter becomes fully "charged" with REgenerated volumes of electromagnetic Forces of all kinds... awaiting the next morning's "call" into action from our Sun's pulling rays and forces.
When (or if) Pari Spolter comes to understand the above simplicity, she may alter her concepts about what factors determine the rotational velocity of satellites in our solar system.
Again, the Heat and Light Forces drawn from the crust only become activated within the atmosphere. Evidently, the magnetic rays and forces from the Sun that pull earth's Heat and Light forces from the crust, do not stimulated them into activity while stored inside the upper crust. If earth's heat forces could be agitated into action while in the upper crust, the heat produced could melt the earth and destroy all life. This does not happen, therefore the Sun's magnetic pulling rays reaching earth's heat forces stored in the crust are not like those that activate earth's Forces drawn into the atmosphere, as in the following...

Apparently having none of Churchward's data, Churchward's 50 year study of volcanos, earthquakes and earth's geology, Lloyd DEDUCED "sodium with water" somehow "causes" volcanos - and other similar phenomena. As written in my email higher up, Churchward says the melted rock ("magma") seen flowing out of volcanos comes mostly from inside the vertical volcanic funnel and sometimes from the walls and roof of the gas belt tunnel near where the belt approaches the volcano. Also melted rocks that may have been a block in the belt. Much of the flames, gas clouds and plumes rising from the volcano are ALSO melted rock, but OVERheated by volcanic heat and temporarily "analyzed" into their primary gaseous natures. When the hot gases reach cooler high strata, they reform into solids and fall to earth as fine dust, a phenomena observed almost everywhere after great eruptions. Some water may also precipitate from the cooling clouds, but the majority of the clouds cool to fall as dust. - Dick

From Dick: The preceding MAY explain what has happened with this particular "Mount Epomeo." But for the author to infer his hypothetical "metallic base of salt" reaction described above is responsible for ALL volcanic eruptions seems ridiculous to me. The author (and/or "The Man") seem to be totally unaware of earth's geological history and the phenomena so carefully studied by James Churchward. Understandable because Churchward published his books long after Etidorhpa. Lloyd (or "The Man") appear aware only of the then slip-shod theories of orthodox geology (and physics) which are justifiably criticized.
But Churchward, who also criticized orthodox beliefs, offered many real world PROOFS to support his criticisms and contentions. The writer (Lloyd or whomever) of Etidodorhpa offers only his THEORIES without solid examples of past volcanic phenomena on earth's surface that can provide reasonable PROOFS to support the author's contentions. The awed "listener"in the novel, possessing only the SAME background knowledge as the "writer," seems easily persuaded by every "scientific" assertion by the great "WISDOM" of the inner-earth "speaker." Perhaps I am being over critical. But IF I had found Churchward as lacking with reasonable proofs, I would have tossed Churchward's 5 books aside 50 years ago! I haven't done so because most of Churchward's supported notions have stood the test of time compared to present orthodox assumptions, in my estimation. - Dick

From Dick... Dean, I realize how highly you value most of Cater's notions, therefore I hesitate writing anything critical about his beliefs. But from the above it seems clear Cater has persuaded himself the Etidorhpa explanation that sodium interacting with water being a MAJOR cause of volcanic activity, is entirely true.
And evidently, Cater believes, with orthodoxy, that TECTONIC PLATES EXISTand they along with FAULT LINES cause volcanic activity. His only apparent departure from orthodoxy is his addition of his theoretical "soft particles" AFFECTING the plates and fault lines by building up electricity and heat.
Even our mutually admired writer-analyst Pratt DOUBTS the existence of "Plates," and gives several reasons for his doubts. On that point he does not support Cater (and others).
As I related in my upper email response, Churchward contended the FAULT theory as cause of earthquakes, is an error.
After earth's primary granite rock cooled sufficiently, vertical cracks and fissures opened EVERYWHERE between planes of crystals in the granite. (The San Andreas and similar are superficial surface cracks high above the deep gas belt tunnels that when temporarily blocked, result in earthquakes as the driven gases clear the block. Then violent vibration affects and involves the San Andreas causing it to also shake and move. But the movements of the surface "Faults" are only a secondary phenomenon, not the originating cause.)
Those vertical cracks and fissures opened everywhere in the crust, formed "passageways" connecting the "universal" honeycomb of gas chamber bubbles that formed within the solidifying molten granite crust. Since earth's beginning, those fissure-passageways have been used by earth's great centrifugal force to drive upward and empty from earth's body the (often explosive) volumes of non-solidifying free gases that were originally "trapped" in earth's hollow center and in the solidifying molten granite crust during the birth of our planet.
But because of this never ending violent emptying effort, earth's rocky surface has been countless times raised above water, submerged, and some of the rocks sliced up, eroded and reduced to fine soils needed for nature to develop past and present life on our planet From seeming "catastrophes" (for those living on earth in its distant past), "Nature" has fashioned our present earth, with its ocean depths and great mountain heights, - and for some time yet, earthquakes and volcanos, as the remaining deep gases continue to be emptied from Earth's crust.
In my opinion Dean, because of his apparent disinterest in geology, Cater lacks the deep knowledge about the past geological development of earth possessed by Churchward. And because of that lack, because Cater apparently also shares some orthodox beliefs about Plates, Faults, Ice Ages and Continental drift, etc., Cater has formed faulty theories about GEOLOGICAL volcanic actions, earthquakes and uplifting of mountains. Therefore I do not wonder that Cater so readily accepts the unsupported sodium reaction volcanic theory proposed in Etidorhpa.
