To me, 500 days is still far too long to be away from the sun, though. And completely alone (though she did have brief messages coming to her, it sounded like).

@SilverMoon , when you said "in a cave for 500 years" , it did strike me how the ancient legends talk about sages and monks meditating inside remote caves for hundreds or thousands of years , while keeping their bodies in a state of suspended animation...hmm !
