Mike, I assume Bifrost, the Rainbow Bridge to be the Aurora, at the true
pole where the world's axis is, (Yggdrassil) which produces precession of
the equinoxes. The Japanese gods stirred the primordial waters with a
jewel-encrusted spear standing on the Rainbow Bridge, hence the crystaline
nature of the crust, with seems of gold and precious stones. Over Bifrost
was the land of the Frost Giants, probably in reference to their height and
location within the polar zone. The Council of Nine who channel information
(not an MKULTRA experiment) also say they come from a "zone of cold." When
Loki (the devil) escapes over Bifrost, (to the underworld) Ragnarok, the
final battle follows soon after. The Celtic Cauldron, I take to be an actual
description of HE and the elixir of immortality it contains (or food,
depending on the myth) is the ether of life (after death.) Hazel.

From "Echoes of the World Cauldron," CCCC, published by
Hidden Mysteries (http://www.hiddenmysteries.com):"This image of the underworld as a cauldron was often
synonymous with, or related to, the womb/maw of the Earth
Mother/Death Goddess herself. From Hvergelmir flowed the
Gjoll, which surrounded Helheim like a moat, or a cauldron's lip.
This is perhaps more meaningful than is at first apparent. The
raging Hvergelmir was the source of eleven rivers in total: in
addition to the Gjoll, there were the Svol, Gunnthrun, Fimbulthul,
Fjorm, Slid, Sylg, Hrid, Vid, Ylg, and the Leipt. It is interesting to
note the similarity between the name of the river Leipt, and that of
the river of forgetfulness, the Lethe, from the Greek picture of
Tartarus. The eleven tributaries of the Hvergelmir emptied into
the central void of Ginnungagap."The second of Yggdrasil's roots found it's way into the lands of
the Gods, Asgard and Vanaheim. Again we find a wellspring or
flowing water source, this time in the form of the Well of Urd,
known as the Well of Destiny. Here dwelt the gods, and the three
Norns of the Well, the latter synonymous with the Greek Fates.
While often pictured in a poetic sense as a land lofty and high in
Yggdrasil's branches, this realm was in fact a subterranean one
as well (as it's location by root and well attest). In fact, the only
world of the Norse cosmology which can be said to be
non-subterranean is that of Midgard (Middle-Earth), the surface
world of human beings. Bifrost, the "Rainbow Bridge" which
stretched across Ginnungagap and into Asgard from Midgard,
may have been attributable to the imagined rainbows created
where the waters of the surface world fell away to crash into the
pit of the underworld, a place of mists and clouds. "--Mike

Re: Leslee about El Popo
Hi Dick,
I will be going to the bookstore sometime this week. As a newcomer to the HE, and Chruchward, could you suggest a title or two to get me started? I would like to begin reading his work.
Thanks a bunch!
Leslee
Dick,
I wasn't big on that one idea of Churchward about a tidal wave due toa pole shift depositing the mammoth bones at the point of the New Siberian Islands, but other ideas of his might be just wonderful.
You are welcome to talk about himn on the list and familiarize us with his ideas.

Leslee... Good luck IF you can find any Churchward books in
bookstores. Used bookstores, maybe. New, doubtful. Libraries,
don't know. But if not easily found, try the following websites
I located last year.... His two straight SCIENCE-GEOLOGY oriented
books I especially value (and his last books before he died)
are "COSMIC FORCES OF MU," Books One and Two. His
earlier original first book, "Lost Continent of MU" is also good
(but not as informative as the above Two CFofMU books, in my
opinion.). And if you want his broad version of world wide ancient
people, races, countries, religious foundations, etc., get
"CHILDREN OF MU." Full of fascinating data, with
lots of supporting evidence quoted from other western writers and
ancient writers like VALMIKI - and what Churchward found (and was
capable of translating) from temple records in India, Tibet and other
countries.
He also wrote of the many Temple legends in India and Tibet
about the younger Jesus who supposedly trained there until he
achieved Mastership. Churchward's own Rishi Teacher (who Churchward
also referred to as a "Master") frequently told him stories about
Jesus, whom the Rishi said was the "greatest Master" ever seen on
this Earth. The Rishi was not a Christian.
BotherHood of Life website...
http://www.brotherhoodoflife.com/MU.html
$17.95 for each copy of CFofMU Book One
and Book Two.
Aquila Cove Weat distribution
http://www.aquila.org/dbfiles/446.HTML
(Apparently $14.95 per copy) Why Cheaper?
May be other websites with some of his books, but the above two
were the best I could locate.
