Sean, this is partially true. There is a definite connection
between some types of physical "cryptids" like Mothman and El
Chupacabras, and the supernatural realm. But this does not
negate their physicality, or the very real possibility of their origin
in an alternative biosphere, which may be concealed within our
own planet. The Nephilim, in particular, where said in the
Apocryphal Books to have performed a wide range of genetic
experiments, combining different types of creatures and men,
and creating many "chimaerical" forms (like El Chupa).
Prolonged study reveals that there are paranormal aspects to all
or most of these phenomena. I'm working on an article for an
e-mag right now which deals with this very topic, among other
things. The "reptilian" aspect of many of these beings, even the
spiritual or supernatural ones, may have more to do with their
very ancient (pre-mammalian) time and place of origin, as well
as with their ability to present "glamour" or illusion when they
appear briefly in our surface world. The tantric account is a
perfect example of this. The description of the locomotion of the
female entity holds many clues, which I will address and
reference in the article, giving Jan due credit and web links.
Demons are often wrongly thought of as 'fallen angels," which
they are not. They represent the spirits of what the Torah calls
"the people of old time," destroyed during the rebellion of their
fallen angelic masters, who are still enslaved to the same. They
are the equivalent of the asuras and rakshasas of Hinduism.
There is also a very strong relationship or kinship between them
and the "extant" or physical forms, such as the so-called
"cryptids" or unknown humanoids that you mentioned. They are
interrelated, representing two aspects of one unseen kingdom
or force which has haunted and plagued mankind for thousands
of years. For instance, in the Torah/Bible, there are mentions of
those physical beings in the wastelands, which are translated
as "satyrs" in the King James version, but which represent a type
of "hairy humanoid" that today we might call Sasquatch, or
maybe even El Chupacabras! In the same verses, there are
mentions of a type of succubus spirit or demoness (the classical
lamia), called Lillu or Lillitu, (Lilith), but mis-translated as "owl" in
the King James translation. These type of phenomena go
hand-in-hand, which may account for some of the confusion of
types and nature to which you refer.
I for one suspect that many of the so-called "shapeshifting
reptilians" which many think they see, are actually representative
of an accidental glimpse of a demonic entity or power which has
attached itself to the person in question, and which has such a
strong presence, that it somehow manifests to view, more to the
"psychic vision" or stimulation of the visual cortex, of the viewer,
than in the physical or "real" world.
There is a definite need and thirst for blood and sacrifice among
those of this mostly-unseen kingdom. I've postulated that (in
THE DEEP DWELLERS) that perhaps some types of creatures
(again, like El Chupa, and even Mothman) which take blood and
the "sacrificial organs," particularly the livers, from pets, livestock
and even human mutilation victims, might be on a mission to
obtain these substances for their unseen, mostly amorphous or
invisible (spirit or other-dimensional) masters. This would
explain much in regard to that particular phenomena.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to "think out loud" as I type.
I'll probably make some of these same points in the article as
well!
Thanks

All too often I keep seeing a blur between the description of
"demonic" underworld entities and "reptilian" creatures or most
recently a "serpentine being". The controversial speaker David
Icke comes to mind as one who confuses these two things.
To me, these terms are not interchangeable. The entities
conjoured up by a tantrik yogi are not living breathing physical
reptile like humanoids that live within the physical earth in our
dimension and have life cycles here on earth and eat food here
on earth, etc.. They are rather a spirit form of entity of the
"demon" realm for lack of a better term. Just because some
appear to be reptilian in appearance does make them part of our
animal kingdom. Humans and animals here on earth or IN
earth for that matter cannot walk through walls or shape shift and
you can't conjour up a real alligator from the city zoo in the strict
sense. Entities that are conjoured up or appear spontaneously
for one reason or another like Mothman, some but not all UFO
related creatures such as the Chupacabra or the female
demoness in the tantrik story are part of a different realm, a
different dimension or reality that can somehow briefly
interpenetrate our own. Some may be Tulpas, seemingly
physical manifestations constructed of pure thought.
The fact that incantations and sacrifices and flesh and blood
somehow power and manipulate this realm from our place on
earth makes it obvious to me that this other realm operates on a
different set of rules or laws than out own physical dimension
although it is close enough to ours to have a direct interaction
with it. This is where black magic enters the picture. It is a
quantum type of informational system that somehow interacts
with the intelligence or intelligences of that other realm.
Personally, I stay the hell away from the black arts but I do enjoy
reading about the subject.
