Whoops!
I mean click here to check out the planets:

I've put some new pictures up in relation to the Olaf Jansen narration, on
this page of the site, including their view of the inner sun. Do take a
look.

Recently I quoted the following paragraphs from Cater to the effect that a
subtle body could be orbiting near the Sun, creating a gravitational force
which interferes with a uniform flow of material around the equator.
" One of the phenomena concerning the Sun which completely baffles all of
the scientists is that it seems to rotate faster at the equator than it does
in the higher latitudes. The sunspots in the vicinity of the equator make a
revolution about the sun in less time than those in the higher latitudes.
This is an annoying paradox which can't be pushed aside by these scientists
because it is out there for all to observe.
The part of the Sun that we see is a highly fluidic blanket. The portion
around the equator could rotate faster if, and only if, a steady external
pull is exerted on this region of the Sun. Otherwise, internal friction
would eventually produce a uniform motion. This means that bodies in orbit
near the equator and close to the surface are generating a high
concentration of gravity-inducing radiations. "
Dr. Richard L. Thompson recently pointed out to me that such a different
flow could be due to internal factors. Current flows as exist on Venus
see Jan's book ) could be occuring. Just as atmospheric currents emanate
from the Southern Venusian orifice and get caught up in equatorial super
rotation, the same could be happening on the Sun and could account for the
faster rotation at the equator. I just wanted to set the record straight.
I still stand by Cater'ds concept of gravity as an electrostatic force, and
the role which electrostatic forces play in geological processes and the
auroral phenomena.
Dean
Vinaire,
Loved your site!
Since you are a MIT man, I am interested in hearing your opinions about the
ether article and the one on gravity on the site:
Dean/Dharmapada
With relation to that Venus could band post, I wanted to send some more
Venus pics, but egroups doesn't seem to permit it. But the Venus pic I was
most interested in sending in on that web site whose address I sent two days
ago:
Click on Venus, then when you get to the text page, click on Venus again,
and you get the pics.

Blake,
Nice post; it is good to hear all perspectives. I still wonder if there
isn't a city named Eden in the hollow Earth. Of course, Olaf's testimony has
some questions and issues surrounding it.
Dean
Dean,
The hollow earth might be a suitable location of the Garden of Eden prior to
the fall of Adam. I think Rodney promotes that theory on his website. When
Adam transgressed, he may have been shown the door and put onto the surface
world. If there's a city there named Eden, I'd suspect that perhaps it is
named after the memory of Eden. I'm not convinced that the physical
environment of the hollow earth matches Adam's paradise, though. I believe
that when he fell, so too did the Earth, which was physically removed from
close proximity to the planet upon which God resides. Hence the Earth,
within and without, lost its paradisiacal condition--a necessary separation
to further God's plan. Mormon belief is that when mankind is finally
redeemed, the earth also will be redeemed and become celestialized and
glorious. It, too, goes through the process of mortality and a symbolic
baptism by water and fire (Noah's flood and whatever cleansing comes next),
and then a resurrection. Many scriptures suggest that God hears the earth as
it mourns its current, fallen condition, mainly due to the sins of humanity.
The earth's mourning can be a weird concept, but not if you believe that the
earth is a living entity with a spirit. Joseph Smith was shown a vision of
heaven, and said that all things--animals, plants, and worlds--that were
there were communicating with God and gave glory to Him. There's a reason we
left God's presence, and one day we must return and report on our actions
and fess up to whether or not we learned anything.
Blake
Blake,
Well,
I am definitely appreciating the idea you Mormons have of the Earth being a
living entity with spirit.
The idea of the Earth's mourning is one that is found in the Puranas, also.
How did we ever get away from such realistic concepts in the West? I think
that it is due to unbridled, pragmatic science.
Dharma/Dean
Heck, you couldn't convince mainstream scientists that a human being has a
spirit or an eternal identity, let alone that the earth has one. That would
be admitting that there's a God! They'd never do that; such an act would
compromise their monopoly on truth.

Dear Blake,
I can appreciate your enthusiastic and well presented information, but, just
a little reminder, Moses 1: 32, and Moses 4: 32. Some of these things can be
very deep, and hard to understand completely without some spiritual
assistance. Be wise in what you share.
With utmost respect,
Norlan
Norlan,
Don't condescend to me or the readers. If you've read my past posts, you'll
know that I frequently urge readers and those interested to seek for answers
spiritually. I don't think the post in question requires a deep spirituality
to comprehend. The gospel of Jesus Christ from the Mormon perspective is
fascinating, and it can, after all, be presented with an emphasis on logic.
Thanks for your concern.
Blake
Norlan,
Don't you mean Moses 1:42? Weren't these verses implying a time prior
to modern revelation. Everything that Blake explained is now in the
public domain. I believe that more and more of 'us' are becoming aware
of this truth in direct correlation to the times.
It is nice to see a scriptural slant applied to these truths as well as
the scientific. I am an engineer by profession so my job is applied
science. However, I have found that I am more successful, inventive
what ever you want to label it when I actively seek knowledge or truth
from it founder or source in conjunction with my professional efforts.
As I have quietly followed this group it has been amazing to me to
discover others that, I believe, share my own beliefs. (Norlan, Blake,
Rodney and possibly others who have not yet spoken up.)

Roy,
I haven't spoken up yet, but you can count me in. I think Blake is right on
target. The only way to keep these theories and ideas in check is to apply
spiritual perspective to them.

Roy,
There seem to be a lot of hollow Earthers amongst the Mormans. I think that
some kind of list and web site should be directed at them. Actually,
Rodney's site is such a site. Have you visited it?
Dharma/Dean
Dean,
The official name of the church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. The Latter-day Saint tag is used to distinguish our church from the
primitive Church of Jesus Christ, which we believe to have fallen away not
long after Christ's resurrection. Such a falling away requires a
restoration, not a reformation, which we believe occurred in America in the
1830s by a modern prophet named Joseph Smith. The Mormon appellation stems
from our belief in the Book of Mormon. Mormon was an ancient American
prophet and one of the authors of that book. This book was given to Joseph
Smith for translation into English by Moroni, a resurrected being and son of
Mormon.
Rod's site is a good one, very interesting to read for a Mormon. But it
shouldn't be taken as anything official for our church. Many concepts that
Rod proclaims as answers to religious/historical/Biblical questions are
still, after all, just theories.
I think Mormons can be open to theories like the hollow earth because we
have a unique perception regarding how blatantly fallible the philosophies
of men can be, including science. All of man's conclusions are based upon
perceptions using our imperfect senses. Religious truth can only be truly
confirmed spiritually. Mormons really trumpet God's reality, divinity,
perfection and power, that he is capable of anything, even if we don't
understand how he did it. But we believe that we can come to understand
these things if we seek for them spiritually. This requires a person to form
a relationship with God. We don't spend our time wondering if God exists or
if he created us and this world, but are freed to wonder how he did it and
why. This strong belief makes us very curious.
An excellent example of our curiosity involves the lost 10 tribes of Israel.
The Book of Mormon makes it clear that these people exist as a separate
group, isolated and hidden from mankind. They were led north long ago in a
miraculous exodus. So where are they? Most Mormons haven't a clue, or they
casually suspect that the lost 10 tribes are scattered among the world's
northern population (an incorrect assumption). The hollow earth model
provides a suitable location for them, and more Mormons would jump on this
theory if it were presented to them.
As usual, I must state that our church has no official doctrine concerning
the hollow earth.
Have a good one,
Blake

Blake and Others,
Sorry to be so misinterpreted. My comment was intended to be complimentary
of a very well presented position. In reading over my comment I can see
where it came across quite opposite of what I had intended. I was agreeing
with you that a spiritual approach is important, and that logic can also be
very useful. The quote of Moses 1:42 (corrected typo) was meant to be
tongue-in-cheek. I agree that most Mormons don't have a clue as to Hollow
Earth concepts, but a great many do. The majority seem to be stuck in the
same solid core theories that were indoctrinated into us throughout our
public education, as they continue to be. I think Dean's site gives a great
insight into many areas of possible explanation of those mysteries we are all
striving to solve. At the same time, I think there are the fictionalists who
continue to test their latest fabrications on this captive audience. We
agree on this. My past posts have also taken a strong stand against these
types of fiction writers, much to the consternation of Dean, no doubt. Sorry
about the misunderstanding. Great job in presenting a logical and accurate
representation of the Mormon beliefs.
It's these insights that give a certain depth to Mormon Hollow Earth
considerations, no pun intended.
Norlan
Norlan,
I am sorry to have missed the tongue in cheek aspect of your post. No
offense from my post intended. I for one have found the hollow earth
theories to support every aspect of my understanding of creationism,
religion and science. In my searching of the resources available I have
had to sort out what I believe to be reliable and what seems to be hog
wash. I agree with your statement that there are a large percentage of
resources heavy into fictional mysticism and fantasy. I am 42 years old
and the older I become the more I become aware of how much there is to
learn but also how much fiction or half truth or deception there is to
sort through. I wish I could share what I have learned over time about
the search for truth. Maybe another time or forum.
Rodney Cluff's site (www.ourhollowearth.com) has been mentioned in
relation to scriptural insight into the HE theories. I read his site in
its entirety before his research and writings went off line. I have
found his theories and observations to be very enlightening. (I do want
to note that I have enjoyed Jan's and Dean's insights and web sites as
well and Dean I do intend to read Cater as soon as I have the time.)
Rodney, if you see this, I still intend to purchase access to your
e-book. In fact I will do it today if I can remember. I am impressed
with your compilation of Christian based scriptural references. I don't
understand why you removed this from general access on your web page. I
wish that it would be the one thing you would add back to your page for
general access.
On another note. I have decided to purchase a telescope and begin my
personal observations of the planets etceteras. At my local Sam's club
I have found a Meade Digital Electronic Reflector, 112 mm (4") aperture,
f/8 with altazimuth mount and their electronic Autostar computer
controller for approximately $240. Is anyone familiar with this and do
you have any comments. I saw a reference to a Meade ETX 60mm refracting
scope with the same Autostar for about the same $s. Just thought I
would ask.
