NYC = toxic soup

Mike,

I don't know how you do it. In fact I don't know what would posess ( no pun intended.....(inside joke) anyone to live in NYC. I was in Manhatten for my aunts wedding three years ago and I immediately got sick when I arrived. The air was foul. The traffic noise was incessant. People honk their horns all day and all night. I could barely sleep at all. And this was in one of the so-called "nicer" areas.

Nothing could persuade me to live there.

My aunt is the actress Rue McClanahan who played the character Blanche on "The Golden Girls". She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1997and for some weird reason packed up and moved to Manhatten. I told her that is the last place she should be to recover from cancer! I felt malignant after a week there!

But Mike, since you are there, you know I think John Keel is a member of the NYC Fortean Society. If he is still alive you should go to one of the meetings and meet him if you haven't already. I think they meet at the NY public library. Just a suggestion. If I was up there again I would try to meet with him.

Sean
