Shadows, stars, flag waving, radiation--all those arguments are insufficient
by themselves to prove a hoax, and all are easily explained.
However...investigator Bart Sibrel (listen to him on Art Bell) may have the
smoking gun. I haven't seen the evidence yet, but I've heard him talk about
it. He says he's got unedited NASA footage of the Apollo 11 astronots as
they are setting up a fake shot of a view the earth, in an attempt to
pretend that they are half way to the moon--some 130 thousand miles
out--when actually, they're in orbit. The shot is through the portal of the
LEM, ostensibly of the earth from that half-way distance. The earth fills
the portal of the LEM. In the edited, publicly-released footage, you're led
to believe that the camera is right at the portal looking at the Earth from
a distance. The unedited footage, however, shows them setting up the shot by
placing the camera at the back of the LEM, far away from the portal. They
had darkened the LEM so it resembles the blackness of space. They use the
portal of the LEM as the circumference of the earth. They even insert a
crescent-shaped dark matte to simulate the night side of earth. I guess you
can see their arms move as they do this, and you can see the young Buzz
Aldrin in zero gravity (which can't be faked).
The footage also has the astronots being told what to do and when to talk.
Apparently there were two channels, one between Houston and the astronots,
and a second that Houston didn't even know about.
Fairly recently, this investigator set up an interview with Buzz Aldrin.
When he showed Buzz this unedited footage and asked him to explain it, Buzz
grew angry and inquisitive. Buzz said, "I was just a passenger. You'll have
to talk to NASA administration about it." (or something to that effect.)
Then Buzz says to the reporter, that if he airs the video there will be a
law suit. (see "Buzz off" at http://www.moonmovie.com/10things.html) The
reporter has it all on tape that he's going to turn into a second video. In
all these decades, the other astronots have refused to give any interviews
since their "moon walks."
All of the astronots who moon-walked have died suddenly--either in accidents
or by heart attacks, as if the government doesn't want them talking about it
on death beds. (It's no secret that a man can be murdered, even though it
appears, after an autopsy, that he died of a heart attack. This happens all
the time and is the main tool for quiet government assassinations.) However,
this is not how Grissom died, obviously, as he was burned to death in the
LEM. The reporter has physical evidence that proves the LEM fire that killed
Grissom's crew (the first crew supposed to walk on the moon) was
deliberately set.
The first video is A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon, and
contains the unedited video of the faked shot. The guy was on the Fox
broadcast, although this piece wasn't in it for whatever reason. I want to
get the DVD but I don't feel like shelling out 30 bucks for it.
So I guess I'll never know....I'm back to a 50/50 chance that they faked it.
