Does this mean that all my rational discourse over the past few years
has had an effect on y'all?
I don't know. Maybe Bush and Co. already has them under mind control,
like some of the Democrats. Or perhaps they have a varient of Mad Cow
Disease and they're slowly losing their memory.
The most obvious sign of a cover up was reported in the February 2001
National Geographic on page 39. National Geographic of course does not
question anything that NASA tells them, having a non-controversial
editorial
policy, to say the least:
What Color is Mars?
SEEN FROM EARTH, Mars glows like an orange-red ember against the
dark night sky. From the vantage point of the Viking 2 lander, which in
1976
took color pictures on Mars, the red planet is really more yellow and
brown.
An early, uncalibrated image from Viking showed an impossibly blue sky.
After corrections for color, the scene was tweaked with added brightness
and contrast to simulate how Mars might look to a human visitor.

The 'impossibly blue sky' was also observed in the Pathfinder color
images. It appears NASA still has problems with the 'calibration' of
color
images from Mars. Basically the 'calibration' was to lower the blue and
green levels, then increase the brightness and contrast to make up for the
loss of information. The public must not be disappointed. There are others
who saw this including the son of the Mission Controller I believe who has
been on the radio talking about his mission to adjust all of the monitors
to
restore the proper color balance.
The sky on Mars should be blue unless the sky is obscured by clouds of
dust from storms. There is no reason a clear sky on Mars would be red in
the absence of dust storms. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to
understand
this.

precisely what they are doing. (What was that about
notifying the public prior to imaging
opportunities...?)
But this doesn't automatically translate to "coverup."

Non other then that the false color pictures of Mars is covered in "UFO's and the Complete Evidence from Space" by Daniel Ross. I am quite sure you would like that book Dean.
So then, if the photos which we see are doctored, i.e., false colored, i.e.,
doctored, then how can we even begin to interpret atmospheric data from NASA
photos?
