FYI only. This is a very long, very dry article, with intense detailed comparisons between Octagon Earthworks, Egyptian Pyramids and Stonehedge. After reading it, the same question came back to haunt me---are they all connected, were the peoples who built the pyramids really only located in Egypt, or were they scattered all over the world taking their knowledge with them? If so, do we need to look at these ancient structures as a whole, instead of separately, to discover the answers we are looking for concerning other civilizations in both Underground Caverns and a HE?

I have visited these mounds in Newark and also Serpent Mound and the
the Hopewell mounds. You mentioned yesterday the feeling of being in a
sacred place. That was how it was for me being there. :slight_smile: There is so
much yet to be learned from these sites. Near the Serpent Mound there
is a mile wide crater on farm land. When we were there, my husband did
his best to find out more about this crater and they were very very
"closed mouthed" about it. Another interesting thing about the Newark
mounds... a pilot recently has discovered an ancient road (from the
air) that runs from the Newark mounds to New York! Mysteries abound!
