This is chapter two from The Hollow Earth site, i.e., the book The Hollow

This chapter deals with Admiral Byrd and his discovery of the land inside
the polar openings.
You all might remember that I passed along " testimony " from Mr. Cater
about Jim Bowen. Jim was a part of Byrd's expedition into the Antartic
opening in 1948. Byrd and one group stayed longer than Jim's group but, even
so, Jim reported lush vegetation, constant illumination and hazy skies.
Years late Jim approached Mr. Cater because he heard that Mr. Cater was a
serious HE proponent and confided in what he had been a part of.
Therefore, I take quite a bit of stock in the version that Byrd went in
more than once ), although some don't take the idea seriously. Browse
through the above chapter ( with your browser, ha! ha! ha! ) with an open
mind.

Here is a map of the floor of the Arctic basin.

Notice that a deep gouge begins right above the New Siberian Islands. The
deep part of the gouge could mark where the opening really is. Notice that
there is no floor detail along that gouge. Why couldn't it be deep AND with
floor detail?
Campare the elongated nature of the deep gouge with the last picture down on
this page showing the Russian's conception of the magnetic field area in the
Arctic basin.

One practically superimposes itself on the other, suggesting that the gouge
is where the opening is, and that where the gouge is is where the magnetic
lines of force run in and out and that that is where the opening is ( Note:
This type of circular reasoning is ok )
