Subject: [fantasticreality] Electromagnetism and Earthquakes
I find it of particular interest that the 6.2 quake which just took
place, some thirty minutes ago, in Seattle, was preceded by
out-of-control riots at the Mardi Gras parade last night. This
quake was apparently felt as far away as Salt Lake City. When I lived in the SF Bay area in the mid-80s, there was a
spontaneous "riot" at Great America Theme Park one night,
which was followed by a moderate quake just a few hours later,
epicentered in the mountains down near Los Gatos (about
fifteen or twenty miles away). Also while in California, I watched
in amazement as college students in Palm Springs went
berserk, ripping off people's clothing, overturning cars, etc. Less
than five or six hours later, a major quake, epicentered just
outside of Palm Springs, struck. We know that many types of animals--most animals,
actually--can sense the imminence of an earthquake. Could it
be that we humans sense this as well, yet not consciously, with
our instinctive unease being manifest in this type of frenetic
group behavior? The effects of electromagnetism on the human
brain and nervous system, particularly strong fields, might come
into play here.Any comments or ideas from anyone?
I hope there are no major injuries, or fatalities in Seattle.
