Very interesting link ( below ) on Wilhelm Reich. The orgone energy captured by Reich in his accumulator is what Cater refers to as low frequency photon aggragates, soft particles.
We know it more traditionally as prana. The Puranas explain that after ether, the next element to manifest is prana. There are so many verses that describe this, it is in the seventh chapter of Gita, forth verse, too.
Why do I say that Cater's low frequency photons are the same as prana? Because he explains that these photons are formed directly from " compacted " ethers, and he explains the mechanics of it all. After ether, prana- just like the Puranas say.
The connections that Cater makes, and the explanations more than anything, are simply unheralded.

The testimony of Olaf Jansen about his visit to the hollow portion is described in the book Smokey God. The tale is fraught with significance for the HET. For one reason, it may be the only direct testimony which we have of the inner world. Olaf describes things which are exactly what one would expect given Mr. Cater's soft particle physics.
There are some points of contention associated with the story but, therefore, there is all the more reason to become familiar with it. We can always discuss it on the list, doubts can be raised.
