<Anybody tempted to believe that all fairy-type creaturers are
sweet, harmlessly playful, totally innocent little sprites might do
well to read the horror stories of Arthur Machen (MACK-en),
especially "The White People" - who are extremely black entities
indeed.
Familarity with the horror stories of the Rev. Montague
Rhodes James wouldn't hurt either.>

George,

There are many stories from mythology and folklore which
portray the fae as malevolent...two good books that illustrate this
are A Field Guide to Demons, Fairies, Fallen Angels, and Other
Subversive Spirits by Carol Mack and Dinah Mack and At the
Bottom of the Garden : A Dark History of Fairies, Hobgoblins,
and Other Troublesome Things by Diane Purkiss. No harmless
little sprites here...but a collection of kidnapping, raping, and
murdering fiends.

Mike, You seem to have lumped every sprite, goblin, fairy, dwarf, troll and
gremlin into the same category, 'malignant entities.' Although you have
thouroughly investigated all types and many appear quite nasty, faeries,
were known to Maoris, they lived in an adjoining world, they were tall,
fair-skinned, blue-eyed blondes and non-violent, their world was full of
brilliant light and entered through a tunnel, where dead spirits enter.
(Portal) Legend has it, a Maori married a fairy (voluntary inter-breeding,
not forced genetics or rape) and when they returned from her underworld,
they introduced all the cultural customs the Maori now practice. The
strangest thing about this tale is, how were Maoris, dark-skinned people,
living in isolated Pacific Islands, even aware that white-skinned races
existed? But then Maoris are lighter than their aborigine cousins of
Australia, maybe they are a 'mixed-race.' Hazel

No, I don't think all unknown entities, beings, or races are
malignant. But enough are either malignant or coldly indifferent
to warrant looking for the truth of the matter and being on your
guard against disinformation.....

Best,

Mike, Absolutely, there's more to this Earth than meets the eye. BTW I
enjoyed your EM article and it explains how beings may use this field to
move between realities, dimensions or worlds. The ancient Malta ruins enigma
is another fascinating tale.
Will keep an open mind on the subject.......Hazel.
