MaTa,
I did like it.This is what I found:
" The Navajo religious system is intricate. Like most Amerindian nations,
they claim to have come from a subterranean world through caves or vents
that connect with this upper world. Theirs is a Mystery Religion based on
Drug Cults (Peyotism), on shamanism, and on amuletic songs, dances, design
and rituals."
I am flabbergasted at the obvious references.
A whole site could be done with material about the underground-origin
folklore of the American Indians. Of course, what can I do, swipe a page
here and a page there? Maybe I'll have to do up alink section, although my
sites are already overshelmed with links.
The Cherokee were definitely east-coast indians, and their very name means
underground deweller. So from the East coast to the West, you get the same
thred.
