I wonder if there is a connection in some manner to the Atlantis and Lemuria mythos to Antarctica.

New Zeland has a continental shelf that is very expanded, it's huge. Back when our planet had a cloud mantle, it would have been exposed. That could have been Lemuria.

You know, the Mayans in Guatemala/Guatepeor and the Yucatan are close and genetically similar to the Dravidians of South India, their language is a derivitive of Dravidian and their worship is pre Aryan Dravidian. The Land of OZ/Australia and a small New Zeland continent could have been stepping stones.
