Wow! I didn't know they were that mean. I hope they keep them up north, too.
I cannot imagine how the early settlers and Indian's coped with all these
wild type of creatures. I guess that is why they needed guns at hand back
then.

Are Polar bears as aggressive as grizzlies?

The belief seems to be that both are aggressive killers, but the
Polar Bears have learned to fear humans to some extent (though
perhaps not much!). Grizzlies or Kodiaks still harbor no such
respect for humans, often not even for those bearing and firing
firearms.

The eskimos were real glad to get rifles.
I've never been that far north myself.
I noticed the latin name for griz is Ursa horiblus. I think thats how it is
spelled.
Horrible bear. Must be special to have a name like that.

Mike,
Truthfully, I was surprised to learn that grizzlies are intelligent enough
to circle behind a person and sneak up on them, or to ambush and charge from
a bush.
I hate to deviate from our topic of the hollow Earth, but the explorations
and observations of the Arctic explorers are part and parcel of the theory,
of the body of evidence. The best way, currently, to investigate is by
flight, but if one really persues this, who knows what kind of situations
one might wind up in up in the Arctic.

Members,
If anybody wants to translate portions of the Holloow Earth in the Puranas
site, such as the Arctic page or the first page about the Puranas, into
their native language, then I can provide a page and do the pasting. Ten
templates, ten pictures.
It would be separate from my site, without the connecting buttons on the
left- or we could keep them as a link in English, whatever you want. I've
got some stuff up in portuguese already.
