DOCUMENTATION, MICROSCOPE CAMERAS, QUANTIFICATION? tHEY ONLY ALLOW THEORIES THAT CAN'T BE PROVEN ON THINGS WHICH CAN'T BE TESTED, LIKE THE COMPOSITION AND NATURE OF BALCK HOLES AND SUCH.
Speaking of Black Holes, did you see the headline news today from NASA: NASA's newest findings state there are 300,000,000 black holes, not 40. If I read Cater right-he disputes this----am I reading him right?
BUT CLOUDS ARE SO CLOSE. WHY DOESN'T HE SAY " GOOD POINT "?
It has been my experience when trying to explain something concerning the metaphysical world to one who is dogmatic in their thinking, it does not matter what is explained, said, etc. Their minds are made up before the conversation begins. I, myself, quit trying to explain, unless I find someone who is at least willing to imagine what I am describing could be correct. I have also found this to be true concerning alternative methods of healing. I have run across people close to their death beds who absolutely will not try any alternative method of healing, but will lay in wait of death because the AMA has no answers for them, and if truth were to be known, is probably killing them faster than if they did nothing at all for their condition. They won't even change their diets for god sakes!
I think most minds are steeped in traditional thinking, and I attribute this to the methods used in formal education---the rote system does not promote free thinking. I think this is a problem with what docs are calling ADD or ADHD kids. I do not think there is anything biologically wrong with the majority of these kids, but I do believe they learn differently than most people. I think they are abstract in their thinking and to teach them, and hold their attention, creative teaching needs to be employed. I believe the linear teaching in class rooms bore them completely, therefore, disruptive personalities arise.
I do not think the other you are conversing with will ever say "Good Point" because he closed his mind before your discussion ever began. Hopefully I am wrong, and one day a light bulb will go off in his head. But, I think what is shameful in many areas of society/careers is the lack of willingness to be open to change, whether or not one agrees. I think it scares the hell out of most.
GIVE THE het A FAIR HEARING. IT MAY BE MORE 3-D AND PHYSICAL THAN YOU THINK.
I will. I have often wondered if it were physical.
