Other traditions, as in the Mayan and Toltec cultures, we hear of the people just leaving this plane...to go to another planet? inner earth? hollow earth? a parallel world? Dunno.
I believe this. From what I have read or heard about these older cultures, their life here on earth was not foremost in their hearts, but to prepare for their next life elsewhere. I think they may have even transported "out" as a group, or in small groups over a short period of time. It is was makes sense to me when I read about archeological digs--and the scientist's remark "It seems as if the village just picked up and left"--
P.S. It is said Merlin levitated Stonehenge into place, bringing the stones over from Ireland to embellish the new location with positive vibrations.
This is very interesting. I figured someone had to have levitated those stones.
(I have been to Stonehenge--before they fenced it in and began to charge money--and it was extremely special, very alive, magical, even to my young, untrained awareness!)
What a special treat for you! I can tell just from the photos of Stonehedge that the place hums with magic, and a quiet peace. I would love to just stand among the stones for a good day, with no one else around and absorb the energy. Wonder if Merlin would pop in for a visit? Now-- that actually would be something to research, if one could. If Merlin ever appears in some of the areas he's known to have spun his magic and waved his wand. I am going to have to look into it.
Have you had the pleasure of visiting any other ruins? If I was able to travel to any, it probably would be the Mayans, as I think they are the closet to me, not counting any sacred grounds of the Native America's.
