Dean, Norlan and other believers,
There are many great minds that have contributed to the HE theory and
this site. I don't think that the supporters are doing themselves any good
trying to convince the skeptics, and conventional scientists. It is a waste
of valuable energy and talent. Intellectual saber rattling over this theory
vs that theory could be counter productive, especially if done publicly. I
think the skeptics thrive on this type of opposing view's conflicts.
What would happen if this site was successful enough to persuade a
scientist to go forward with an expedition? More than likely they would take
all the credit, and not even mention this site, if he was successful. If one
of us was to enter, and come back with many video tapes of the interior the
skeptics and conventional scientists would say that the tapes were doctored.
I believe, and of course I may be wrong, we should be using our time and
energy in forming our own expedition. Not that many involved of course, and
it would have to planned way in advance, and not via the Internet. If the
pioneers of yesteryear, with what little knowledge, and resources they had
came very close, we could do it with ease. How many explorers do you think
went there, and never came back, that we don't know about? I am sure there
were quite a few. If it is as beautiful as Olaf, Byrd and the others say it
is, I myself would never come back out to this mess. I wouldn't go there with
the hope of going on "Oprah's" TV show.
At this point I say let the skeptics sink or swim on their own, the serious
believers should start getting real serious; lets form a small group and make
it happen
It's gonna be nice and warm in Greenland this August and September.
