[allplanets-hollow] Re: The Book of Enoch

The book written by "Manly P. Hall," published in 1901, "The Secret Teachings
of All Ages," dedicated to "The Rational Soul of the World," will make this
stuff look like "kid stuff."

It is an "Encyclopedic Outline of Masonic, Hermetic, Qabbalistic and
Rosecrucian Symbolical Philosophy," that would blow the average materialistic
mind to kingdom come.

This book is so "heavy duty," it took me over six-months to decide whether or
not I should mention it. Not that I am qualified to make that decision, but
something pushed me to this point.

I am sure some of you already have heard of if, or own a copy, but it would
take a life time to study it. There are tons of references to the HE in this
work of art, too.

MM

I heard Manly P. Hall speak in LA once quite a few years ago. It was
shortly before he passed away. He would speak the way you describe his
writings. It was hard to understand but felt deep to be in his
presence. The auditorium was filled on a Sunday afternoon.

I also went sometimes to another lecturer in LA, Charlie Lutz, who was
a student of his, and who also was popular among some more
experimental TM practitioners (Transcendental Meditation). Charlie is
quite old now, though still brilliant and attuned...not sure if he is
still lecturing. He lives where I live, in Scottsdale, AZ.

I'll be seeing a friend this weekend who knows Charlie very well, and
I'll ask if he has made references to Hollow Earth over the years.

He did say very wild things, for those "old" days. He was known for
saying, "When the space ships come, get into the ones shaped like
hamburgers! Don't get into the ones shaped like hot dogs! Remember
hamburgers! Not hot dogs!" He was real down-to-earth in how he spoke.
It was also known that he had been a Rosicrusian before he came to TM.

Mike,

Can't you at least give us a hint about the books comments on the HE? From
what angle does it deal with the HE?

DD--

I have a copy of "The Secret Teachings of All Ages" by Manly P Hall, which can be intimidating at first glance, yet I think anyone who is wanting to read, study and research any number of topics from ancient history, secret societies and mystical knowledge, should own this book. I have had it for many many years now, and constantly use it. It will be the first book I pluck from my bookshelf when I need a question answered about secret teachings and great teachers--I would recommend purchasing it. I can't even tell you how much it cost, but even if it is $100 today, it is money you will never ever regret spending. I did mentioned this book a month or so back as one that should be studied.

Hi Nimueh:

``

···

I did not receive your original message so took this from Hazel's reply. Once more we have something in common myself being a follower of Manly Hall.

``

Mr. Hall, as far as I can tell, does not come right out and make reference to a HE. I skimmed through his book last night looking up subjects where I thought he might comment. One was Atlantis of course, but Mr. Hall says that Atlantis may be allegorical, yet..and here is the big clue, if there were such a physical place, it would be shrouded in secrecy. He explains in his book that the Cryptogram is a factor in Symbolic Philosophy. Etidorhpa=Aphrodite Is the author really referring to Etidorhpa or Aphrodite? He suggests that if one wanted to know the true meaning of anything written by ancient philosophers and adepts, one best know something about codes. He gives examples of backwards writing, substituting letters in the alphabet for others, numbers are clues, etc. But, he said the most often used method for an adept to pass on his ideas or finding was in fairy tales, fables and myths!

``

Since we all were recently discussing whether Alice in Wonderland could be a reference for HE then lets use that as an example.

``

It works like this--what do we know about Carroll?

``

We know the Lewis Carroll was into a brotherhood, can't recall which one now, but which one might be helpful in figuring what method of code he may have used, if he uded any.

We know he was a mathematician and scientist.

He loved puzzles and speaking in rhyme.

``

Just from those few clues about the author of Alice, we could deduce that if this fairy tale were a message written to "members of a secret society" --then most likely, the information he wanted to pass along would be found in a few of the passages in his books, using one, or more, codes. What kind of code is the key to figuring out the puzzle. If I look at his book he Italicizes words throughout? He has several poems? What would happen if we took only the first line in each paragraph and assembled a book from that, or a letter? Then he uses cards--very mysterious in brotherhoods, as is numbers. In the book he states everything drawn must begin with an M--someone trying to break a code may take this as a clue----M=A as A is the beginning of the alphabet. So--M=A. N=B, O=C on an alphabet wheel, and if his were true it would take quite awhile to figure out waht he was reaaly writting, unless one had some sort of computer system that cracked codes. Also, Carroll uses the number 3 throughout he book, which may indicate he is a follower of Pathagorus and his Society, as Pythagoras believed numbers began with 3, the triangle gives the base of everything, and with 3 your are over half way there to solving any mystery. He also states everything is divisible by 3, and if one comprehended that, then again many mysteries of the universe could be solved. Carroll also uses 10--Pythagoras number for the universe.....and so it goes. So, I would guess Carroll is a Pythagorean Man.

``

So, if there is a HE, and Manly Hall makes reference to it, then we need to break the code to solve the puzzle. I think that is why information is so scarce on topics such as the HE, and others.....no one breaks the code, or if they do, they certainly do not publish it?

``

I will scan over the book again tonight to see if I can find anything else specific about the HE, but I am anxious to hear what your friend has to say about Hall and the HE.

``
